Been away from the site a few days; due to life's drama unfolding without notice or care - we're managing OK though. Then it took me another day just to get caught up on the thread! Now that was work
Man, you know your sucking wind when you can't keep up with a guy with a splintered spine. Slow down man! I'll be reading your harvest entries while you're flipping the next gen!
Dude, if that neighbour of yours blows your doors off you'll never hear the end of it, so I'm relieved to see you're taking the threat of one-ups-manship seriously.
Glad too the light is working well for you, so cool to see it functioning in "supplemental" mode, it must spread some creamy thick PAR flux at 48", and DAMN!, it sure looks cool doing it. I love mine like another child, a child that spends 12-18hrs a day doing nothing but growing me weed.
Hope you're all back on your feet now and enjoying... er... the current season.
I now have so many pics and entries waiting that the back up is truly daunting. Hopefully things get back to normal soon and I'll have the time and energy.
Cant remember if I told you this, so gonna anyway! I'm thankful I filled my SIPs with some plants recently because I'd have killed off anything.... actually, check that, "I did kill off" anything requiring daily scheduled care. My SIPs hold 26 litres of water/fertigation so for most of a grow they offer a minimum one week supply, depending where I set the tent RH%. Adding a fully passive control bucket and large gravity res would multiply that many times, and I might get around to that next run. I dropped a small pump in each one to keep the ferts stirred, with a venturi on it that sucks in air from the filler, just to blow a little air up their skirts and remind 'em, that they're alive. No wild pH swings yet, mild ones either, I run pump evenly spaced 8 times every 24hrs for 15 mins, appears very stable system. I have some mild slow release mixed in but main ferts are synth and mixed into the sub irrigation, matrix 40 perlite, 60 peat.
Yer plants look great, given events, and the thread is a real eye opener. Thank you for making the effort. For those about to rock... we salute you!
