Heavens Shores - Bill's 2022 Grow: Come Meet Howie! Show Us Your Grow Too - Bring A Pic

Looking good @Bill284 how are you liking those lights? I was looking at something similar before I was given the one i have now
Thanks T.C.
Those lights.
They are the worst thing available on zon.
I have 4 great led's bran new in the box.
Just too risky after the fire.
So Stacey said I could use the chepo 12 volt minus .4 watt light.
T5 is way better for babies.

Understandable my friend we use what we can until we figure out another solution the girls look happy though and that’s all that matters :)

Hey Bill:ciao:

Gotta love the dollar store for stuff like that! I get all my plant training wires from them, they have a nice rubber coating on them.

Nice work bench, I used a tail gate instead today . Can't get over how hot it got so quickly. And speaking of temps....Heads up my friend, cold spells at night next week.

No spring this year, snow then 30c.
I fell asleep last night and forgot them.
Ran out at 10 when I woke up.
They won't stay out at night for a while yet thanks.
I cooked both window plants.
Seal is shot and I guess it's a magnifying glass.
So I've lost one of the 45 gallon pot girls. :(
Had a deal yesterday all in place for a grow room.
Moving company won't touch it because it's too tall fek.
They went out yesterday and gave me the bad news.
Originally 10 g's he has till Friday to move it, dropped price to $3500.00
Stacey messaged him on F.B. and offered $2000.00 he said ok but it's got to go.
But I can't find anyone to move it by Friday.
He is tearing down today
Oh well , glad I didn't give him money first.
Now I'm trying to find a portable garage frame to make a greenhouse.
I need a tall sturdy one then I'll poly it and put in a door and window.
How are you feeling?
Did you get in to see the Doctor yet?;)

Stay safe
Bill

Hmm well, I know there's a few transport companies in the area that does wide loads, and presumably the taller ones too...try calling the mine near you, ask who they contract for oversized loads. Guarantee they have a company or two that they use, probably on speed dial. Worst case, you loose a bit of time by asking.

I'll ask around for you, what's the dimensions and weight?

And it's funny, I was looking at portable garages just the other day for a similar project . I like your thinking :thumb:

I go in soon for the doctor, looking forward to it, and some relief.

I basically had 24 hr to get it done.
The company I used said no problem originally.
But they got there late yesterday and bailed on me.
Everyone else was closed.
So he has to tear it down, started this morning.
If he doesn't have the building gone by Friday am he has to pay another year rent on the property.
That's what he told me anyway.
So it's a pile of lumber by now I imagine.
That's why the price plummeted.
Plus he had the decking he sold separately.
Would have been perfect, but I'll figure something out.
I've found a couple frames but not tall enough.
And green house poles aren't as thick as garage ones.
I can always set it on concrete blocks if I need extra height.
But I'd rather it be the right height. :thumb:

What do you use the colored lines in the cups for?
Good morning @Charmanderrr hope you are having a nice day my friend.
The lines are because I screwed up and had no clear cups.
So at the last minute I found those.
I just wanted clear so I could see the roots inside .
Then a solo over top to block the light.
I'll grab a pic.

Different from what I thought it was for, thought you where using them to measure where the nutrients but that works to and my idea would make no sense.

Where did you grab the clear cups? I meant to look last time I was in Walmart.
Those were last minute dollar store specials.
My supplies are not up to par.
I'm still scrambling trying to remember how to grow in dirt.
My usual coco cubes are like auto pilot for me.
They are all out in direct sun doing well today.
I gave everyone some @geoflora
I used river water with Superthrive R.E.G. and this plant Amendment I won last year.
Here are the girls :ciao:

Nice Bill I was thinking about a small one for our backyard but changed my mind in the end. Can’t wait to see you get it up there. How far away are you from Burlington if you need a hand when you get it home?

Be 8 hr or so , I appreciate the offer my friend. :)
I've done a few so I can get most of it.
Anything I need a hand with Stacey will pitch in.:thumb:
I'm debating if 9' is enough, pots are huge.:cheer:
I could put it on Cement Blocks.

I think I got around 8lbs last time but that was a 12' high plant.
For fun I'd love to have gotten a pound a foot.
But I've got a late start and training will be limited by time.
I'm still going to try.
If I bend it over to 1' I might be ok.
I want to make my own RSO.
So I'm stocking up.;)

That’s insane but won’t the upkeep be a lot checking for pests and mold I can’t wait to see more and my lord trimming it is going to take forever unless you rent a trimmer or something in pumped Bill!
