Heavens Shores - Bill's 2022 Grow: Come Meet Howie! Show Us Your Grow Too - Bring A Pic

Good morning @danishoes21 :ciao:
It may look like a lot but I think I'll be ok, fingers crossed.
I took out 40 pounds already and a few more ounces lost shouldn't be a big problem.
Citric acid should buy me some time.
I'll sharpen up the scissors this week.
I figure it'll take two weeks or so to complete the harvest.
Depending on how much I do by hand.
Hope everything is going well my friend. :passitleft:

Giddy up Scissors time.

Have a good week my friend, I’m feeling a lot of us will be hanging buds by the end of this one.

:lot-o-toke:

Good morning Bill hope your bud rot issue is under control did you use the citric acid?
Yes I did my friend, Sheds recipe. :thumb:
What a big help he is.
Probably about 20 liters of citric acid in water.
Went over every single bud.
Sprayed and removed bad ones.
Maby a few ounces lost.
I cleaned out 40 lbs already, couple ounces shouldn't hurt.
Got scissors ready to go.
Would like a few more days prep before I start.
But we'll see how it goes.
Hope everything is going well today my friend. :ciao:

Is it me or have your plants grown in double time?
Seems like only a few weeks ago you put the plants in the greenhouse
Looking great under those lights Bill

Thanks Roy.:thanks:
How have you been doing my friend ?
Summer just flew by didn't it.
I love taking pics in the morning as the sun is just coming up.
I get the coolest pics.
The colors really stand out in the morning.
once the sun hits it washes out the color.
Quick summer.
Seems like I just got started and here we are .:thumb:
Almost ready to chop.
Hope your doing well.
Talk soon.

Funny, you cropped up in conversation at the weekend
We were dreaming about winning the lottery and what we would do with it
I Instantly replied 'Move to Canada and live by a river, a garden, and go fishing - and yes, we could get a dog then'
GF said 'Do a Bill, you mean?' lol
She thought Heavens Shores sounded perfect
:green_heart:

Thank you so much Roy. :thanks:
I am very fortunate to be here.
You could come visit and see if you like it here first.
Wait till July though, you won't like the winter much.
But it's just part of life, you deal with it.
Spare bedroom just for you and the girlfriend.
Any time.

I have been pretty diligent about it.
Every morning I go through each plant.
I'm ruthless about it.
Anything that doesn't look perfect gets ripped off the plant.
I may be over zealous but I'd rather throw away a dozen little buds than loose big colas.
How is your lady doing this morning my friend?

She looks good this morning the cola got a little bent on top from the cover I put on her the other night when it went down to 29. But no big thing

i thought @InTheShed 's spray was for pm not bud rot. they're both a mold so i can see it having benefit.

Hey @bluter :ciao: is citric acid no good for bud rot?
There is ice in Howies dog dish outside and it's 30 c in the greenhouse. :thumb:
Removed a bunch more rot today.
Unfortunately I might have to start Harvesting.
The northern light is closest, mandchas the most bad spots.
Start opening up some space and reduce RH from watering a little.
Everything is so sticky.
And I broke my rule.
I molested every bud. Every one squeezed and spun.
Checking ever inch.
I broke so many branches checking everything.
It's a disaster. Hehe ;)
It's like children.
Your first is fussed over and cuddled.
By the time your on your 10th it's your don't worry and baby them as much.
I'm on 25, so there is nothing gentle going on there.
Take care my friend.

Any concern that you're going to spread mold spores (you didn't see) with your hands to other non-infected buds?

a simple wash will kill it. it can't help the stuff already effected though.

Hey @bluter :ciao: is citric acid no good for bud rot?

hi right back .. :) i would think it would arrest it somewhat .. it is a mold. it would make a good bud wash at weaker levels for the rest.

i'd be asking about quality control if i was howie lol :cheesygrinsmiley:

First off, Happy Thanksgiving to all my Canadian friends! I hope it's a wonderful day filled with food and family.

It is for PM, but I also sprayed it on some buds where I removed rot (didn't do big margins like usual...as a test), and it didn't spread when I checked during trimming last night. Completely unscientific but might be worth noting anyway.

Hi Bill, adding a couple of pics.

I just need a few days.
Don't know if I'll get many more without freezing at night.
I have a dozen pairs of trimmers ready to go.
I appreciate the happy thanksgiving Shed.
Unfortunately the kids couldn't make.
Just the 3 of us today.
Take care my friend. :passitleft:
