Heavens Shores - Bill's 2022 Grow: Come Meet Howie! Show Us Your Grow Too - Bring A Pic

Is it too late for me to sit in here or should I wait for next year's grow?
I would be so honored my friend @InTheShed :green_heart:
I'm building a Shed too.:yahoo::woohoo:
Hopefully I can become part of the Shed club shortly. :thumb:
I use a potting method I designed with layer's of perlite and Bokashi, frass and DYNOMYCO.
@Bud Love christened it the Bill284 Method so I left the name.
But if someday you have a few minute's I know right.
I've created pictorials of every stage and pot I could find I'd love for you to have a look and give me your thoughts or improvements. ;)
No rush it's in the first 75 pages or so.
I documented everything so it's a little lengthy.
But I wanted to leave a blue print for a new grower to follow easily.
BTW I ran soil and coco side by side all summer , still haven't bought a ph pen.:high-five:
This method works.
Thanks so much for dropping by.
Talk soon. :passitleft:

Prayin for you that the Rock Salt does the job.
I don't think I've seen it, or heard of it being scaled up to that size. Freakin awesome job, I really hope it works.

After a week or so of testing my new dehumidifier out...so far it's two thumbs up! I'd highly recommend it from what I've seen of it so far.

Hope your down by the river, enjoying some of this beautiful weather.
I'm half crippled actually.
That rock salt requires a team of elves and some Christian Science to get in place.
And my hose blew apart so I fixed it and it blew in a diffrent spot.
So I need to get to town again.
Seen the cost of a hose.
$75.00 at crappy tire yesterday.
And they had ice melter but no road salt.
That's softener salt.
Only thing I could find.
Hope it's the same.
I'm hoping it'll grab some moisture from the poly over night.
Where's my heating pad?

Thanks for the great welcome Bill! I have read about the wonders of your growing layers (not that the layers are growing!) and couldn't even imagine offering any advice on it. It's not for me, though that doesn't stop me from admiring your work as I do with successful organic or hydro folks here.
:circle-of-love:

Elves are pretty busy this time of year but the Christian Scientists can be found in the Reading Room down the street.

Oh do take care Bill! @ReservoirDog, isnt Bill always reminding us to take care? ;)

Yup, sounds about right, I've got over 100 feet...I try hard not to think about it ($ wise), or forget it on overnight in the fall/spring.

Wish I could tell you. The rock salt method was something I had read on here, and filed away mentally as a "just in case" for a power outage.

I'm hoping so too, and that you feel better soon, time to :bongrip: and take it easy

My next grow I’m giving the @Bill284 method a try. Except for the bokashi I don’t have a maker.

Hey bro I was just wondering if you adjusted your water temperature?

I love the no PH or ppm meter. It’s all in the eye and repetition. I don’t use either.

Day 48 done Bill, almost there! Do you have a 60 day finisher?
There are a couple that are definitely ahead.
Maby 60 but probably slightly more.
I'll see with the mold situation they may all be 60 days.
No ph or ppm in coco is because of my root zone.
It's alive with microbes and fungi that care for the roots.
Works quite well. :thumb:
Hope everything is going well my friend. :passitleft:

Impressive.
Hoping you knock down that rot quick!
Me too I need to run in and get more citric acid.
Holy cow it's working humidity is only 89.
It never drops below 99 once I close the vents.
Salt must be helping.
But wow 10% that's crazy
Hope your well Amigo. :ciao:

Hey bro I was just wondering if you adjusted your water temperature?
Sometimes I run the pump to warm it to 18 c or just let it sit in the sun a bit.
But not as often as I should .
I was diligent about that inside.
But lot's of times it's cold from the hose..
Actually most of the time.
I've been so busy I just don't have time.
But I should check it constantly.
Hope is everything going my friend?

That's great news bill 👍
See I'm not just a pretty face
I have my uses 🤣
It's a technique my my grandma used to use in her green house.
that's what made me think of it when I saw your post about the rh being so high.
Just glad it's helping 👍
