Eat every day if I want, just incredible growth.
So simple for people to use.
It will revolutionize container growing. :thumb:

Hi Bill,
I also would recommend your method to everyone. Phase ll is looking swell because of it. Not quite sure what you meant by container growing, though. Air-pots?

I am curious, Bill. You saw my 2 ladies in flower, which were potted before I knew of your method and rooting could have been much better, for sure.
I barely need to water them and I want them to absorb my budding nutes. Is it because of the roots or can there be a defficiency?
You da man so I gotta ask.

Cheers, my friend.

P.S. Howie always makes me smile. Thanks for the pics.

How to water a 7 gal bag

Bill284 Method

PSX_20220831_184036.jpg

Slowly soak the top of the entire pot

1662009667719.png

Once your Moat is full Stop

Wait and let that drain completely

Go do a couple other pots

1662010266426.png

Let it drain and wait a few minutes

Now we slowly fill the entire Moat

1662010746179.png

Slowly fill the Moat to the

top lip of the pot then stop

Wait and let that drain

1662011290471.png

When you stop it drains into the pot

This pulls Fresh Air in behind it

Every time you fill and stop

it pulls Fresh Air further

Into the pot

1662011690271.png

Each time you flood and stop

more Fresh Air draws

down into the pot

Flood - Stop - Wait

PSX_20220831_191224.jpg

Flood - Stop - Wait

Repeat this process

Checking the bottom

of the pot for

water each time

PSX_20220831_191952.jpg

The pot is full of roots right to the bottom

Repeat the process until you have

water coming out the bottom

PSX_20220831_192311.jpg

You must repeat the process until you have run off

Roots at the bottom must be fed too

Nutrients can build in the pot

You must have run off every time

PSX_20220831_194255.jpg

Flooding the Moat each time draws

the roots to the outside of the bag

-------------------------------------

The roots shoot through the layers

of perlite right away

--------------------------------------------

The Fresh Air sits in the layers of perlite

----------------------------------------------------------

The roots constantly have access to Fresh Air

---------------------------------

Every time you water you are

refilling the pot with Fresh Air

I just read on another growing site about keeping your plants in the dark for a couple of days. Said that the plants use up all their sugars and it takes weeks off of drying and curing time. Have you ever heard of anything about that? Thanks broski.

Hi Bill,

Revolutionize container growing.
Basically anything in a pot/ solid medium.
Anything Coco, Bx, Soil, what ever you can put in a pot.

I can't recall what size pot?
Bigger pots are watered less often, but with more volume.
Are you watering until you have water coming out the bottom each time.
Check my watering pictorial.
You must have run off every time.
Full dry in between during veg, dry but not drydry in flower.
Coco I feed 3 to 7 gallons a day per pot, depending.
Some soil pots as well, daily in soil.
Sometimes twice a day on hot days.
So if it's a volume issue probably a rootball size issue?
If it's picky about which nutrients it eats it could be a salt buildup, requiring a wash of the pot.
Tag me when you water next an explain your process and issue.
We can figure it out.
Hope your morning is going well.
Talk soon

Well Done!

Thank you for that,Bill. I can't read that burgundy colored script on some pics though. Yellow is fine 😊
One question. After the soil is thoroughly moistened and drained, it is then that nutrient water is fed?
Good morning Mike, I changed them to yellow.
I don't know why they came out small like that.
The procedure is the same regardless of what you are giving them.
Plain water, or full nutrients.
Soak the top of the pot thoroughly.
Let that soak in and drain.
Then flood the Moat.
Stop - Wait- Repeat.
Keep flooding the outside edge , stopping to let fresh air pump in each time
When you have water coming out the bottom stop.

In soil

Do this with your nutrients. ^^^
Then let the pot dry right out.
Then do it with plain water.
Dry right out.
Nutrients/ Dry / Water / Dry / Nutrients / Dry / Water / dry.............etc.
You alternate in soil, making sure to dry well in between.
Does that help.
Good morning BTW :ciao:
