Heavenly Hybrid 2nd Grow: Blackberry Kush, Coco Grow, LED450

I’m so mad right now!! Just went in to check on the girls and I’ve discovered 2/3 are now showing what looks to me like pistils. :( (Where’s the pissed emoji!) I’ve been training the crap out of them and I think I have 2 autos and 1 photo. I’m so upset guys, I feel like I’ve wasted so much time/energy on what will amount to practically nothing because I unknowingly abused them. Someone please correct me if I’m wrong!

Ah yes those are preflowers!

Did you know you were plants autos? Or were they mislabeled! I know your paint and frustration I went through it and still am with my EMs

They were mislabeled, I thought they were photos, so I was training pretty hard. My little green heart is broken. I confirmed with @newty on ig, she talked me down and helped me make a new plan of action. I’m still totally upset, but I know it’ll be ok. Thanks for your help Dutchie. I’m gonna go lick my wounds and prepare for the next battle. I just hate waste and this feels like so much waste, time/effort/buds/electricity! I’ll get over it soon, I promise.

I’m glad you have a new plan! If you want to talk it out I would love to hear it. It’s not an ideal situation I know but you will still be able to grow them out and get some buds. All meds are worth it! Sorry to hear the bad news but you will overcome it!

The plan is to continue to grow them out. I have some auto seeds already on the way and (fingers crossed) should hopefully be here within a few days. It will now become an auto-grow-show (Newty tagline), maybe with my one photo (Phoebe) vegging nearly the whole time? She would be a monster quad, if I can do it. The other two will grow out to whatever they can become, I’d guess they have another month, maybe a month and a half? I looked up my seedbank site and they don’t even sell blackberry autos, so it’s anyone’s guess on what they’re supposed to be. :( I don’t know squat about autos other than training them hard is not what you’re supposed to do!! I guess I will learn faster than I planned, in a crash course kind of way. Lemons into lemon drop martinis, right? ;)

:hugs::hugs: Thanks Birdy. Lol, I like your tagline too! You and Newty should team up and create a marketing company. :D I did write them an email, especially since I have two more of the blackberry (or whatever!) seeds too. We’ll see what they say.
 
On the plus side the plants told you pretty early on that the company screwed up! Consider it a lesson in the early stages of quadlining :).

Had you let them grow straight up you could have joined the spog® club!

Spog®. It stands for Single Point Of Green for when an auto goes into flower so early it's just one cola on a stem with no side branching.

So if a SPOG is not a Scrog
Then why the ref about the frog?
Really the frog has never scrogged
and never tried to sog
so the lonely old frog
should learn how to spog!

Hopefully the Seedbank can do something to help you out. I hust went through this with my EM “Auto?” Lol I didn’t find out until much later haha but it clearly paid off after seeing the colas I got from her! Top quality and it has led me to wanting to veg all my photos for a long period before flip!

Can’t wait to see what auto seeds you pop! Fun times are ahead

I’m afraid I don't know much about autos. They were 25 days from sprout, is that early? Maybe because of the stress I was putting on them? I’m not sure. I looked up the autos that the seedbank sells to see if I could figure it out. They only sell 11, so maybe I can Nancy Drew it and sleuth the strain? If it’s a blueberry auto, it says they usually finish in 55 days, so it could be a contender. Still waiting to hear back from them, maybe they have some insight.

Lol Dutch, if I got to choose, I’d pick the surprise you got instead of the one I got! :rofl: You turned your lemons into a lemon tree!! I’m hopeing the new auto seeds arrive tomorrow or the next day, so stay tuned!!
