Heavenly Hybrid’s Hideout: Jump In Anytime

She's probably had enough of you too. Take her down. :laughtwo:
Lmao - a mental health harvest!! I’ve been impulsive about harvests in the past and regretted it later. Now I’m going to listen to you all, I’m clearly an unreliable judge. :laughtwo:

So far that’s two for harvest...

I was going to say that the Candida looks a little "readier" than the Hiydrow-but they both look like they could use a bit more "cloudy".
Could you get a little headstart on flowering out the vegging girls- maybe flip the lights to 12/12 in the veg tent?
That would buy you another week or 2 for ripening the Candida and Hiydrow ...

I have been considering that option too. My thoughts on waiting were because I will have the new QB for them in the bloom tent. I’ve seen in the past with other growers changing lights mid grow and it seems like they need a little acclimation time to settle in. I was a little worried about that happening in bloom, or mid stretch. Maybe I worrying too much?

If your new guitar light is dimmable, you could slowly ease them into the brighter new light-
start out dimmed, and bump it up a little every day....
OR...move the mature girls into the veg tent to finish, and 12/12 the veggers in the flower tent.
Just don't want the veggers to get TOO big before the flip, although there is always supercropping...

Some really great ideas carcass! I’ve thought about of some of that, but I did not think about the dimmer aspect. :thumb: My biggest concern is stressing them in bloom. I just don’t know how bad/not so bad, that really is??

I do need to deep clean (cuz nanners) and then move the 4x4 tent into a different room, so I’m feeling a little overwhelmed at the idea of a plant juggle and a proper clean/move. Lol, I’ve been burned by seeded grows and nanners before; I have some lingering worries about it, to say the least! You’ve definitely given me some great food for thought carcass  thanks for the creativity and problem solving!!

My biggest concern is stressing them in bloom.
That's a very good point...might be best to just leave things as is- flipping them now, or a week from now isn't
going to make too much difference in the overall scheme of things...a couple inches in height maybe is all-
Definitely a situation where a solution might do more harm than good- don't need any hermies ruining things.

anxiety the last few days,
 :passitleft:
pulled a few nanners, and I know more are coming
Chop it! It looks ready enough. If it keeps pushing nanners then thats a lot of active energy not producing other things, so returns could be starting to diminish ;) I’d take it now.

I thought the other looked ready wrought as well. But I have in the past erred on too late w harvests and dont mind CBD taken a little early. If there are plenty of cloudy and the ratio of cloudy:clear:amber isnt changing much then you might as well chop I say! Get things moving along. The meds of them are going to be wonderful.
starting to worry about the upcoming stretch..
Yes you are! that’s a ful veg tent. Do they flower in a bigger space? (Sorry i don’t remember the sizes of your tents!). I’m sure you’ll get them under control :)

HH, I'm sorry to rain on your picnic, but I think I know what's going on here. No matter what advice you get you plan to wait for the right day to chop these down. The "right" day, I think, will be on a day when you desperately need to take a nap. And on that day, guess who I think you're gonna ask to handle this harvest? :laughtwo:

Lol, I think I looked just like this guy :goof: after reading your post. I looked at Candida trichs today and she looks more ready than the last pics I posted too.

Yes it is!! And yes they do! But not that much more room. We’ll have to see how it goes, but I am ready to get this show on the road.

Lmao!!! :laughtwo: I think I’m pickin up what you’re layin down here GDB. And guess who’s weekend is just starting. ;)

I'm caught up as I'll ever be. :ciao: Congrats on all the harvests, and Mr H has some trimming skills!

I would send those suspect buds to oil...what I saw put me in the don't-chance-it crowd. On the split quad trunk, I hear that if you leave about ½" of stem above the node you are less likely to split it on training ;).

I would go very slowly in that transition from blurple to white, and as carcass suggested, a dimmer would be ideal. I would treat them as if you were moving them outside and needed to harden them off for a week. So many issues can show up during that blurple/white move otherwise.

Thanks for coming through @InTheShed! Nice to see you again :) thanks for the weigh in, I’m not smoking any of those questionable buds. I’ll make a pain oil with the critical mass for sure. It’s just the northern lights that I’m still pondering. They didn’t look as questionable as the rest, so I’m just contemplating the safety of using them in an edibles oil. I really don’t want to have to buy stuff from the dispensary in this financial climate.

I’ll be careful with the transition to the new lights. I’m planning to use some kelp in their next feeding to help them deal with the stress too. There will be a white light and blurples in there still, cause I’m low budget. Maybe having both spectrums will ease the stress too? I dunno. We’ll see! Good to see you again my friend!!

Same here! I can't figure out why I'm having such trouble keeping up with journals these days - probably I'm sampling too much of my previous harvests lately. :ganjamon:
Congrats on all your harvests - excellent work! :bravo:
The coolest part is Mr H did it all by himself!
Kudos to Mr H, and tell him his trimming skills are :thumb:.
and he didn’t even half-ass it towards the end - like I usually do. :laughtwo:
We are all guilty of that most times!
What a great guy- I would literally fall over if Mrs.C. ever offered to help trim...
You really should convince her to try sometime. Mrs BL always helps me trim, and she doesn't even consume any of it. It makes the task more pleasant for me.

 You beat me to it!

Good to see you again too BL! I told/showed Mr H all the compliments for his Candida trim job and he was really happy to get the love from you guys. Apparently it means nothing when I say it, but he believes you all. Lol. It did help get him psyched up to help me trim today, so that worked out well.

Hi everyone! :ciao: I’ve got a Hiydrow harvest for you all update real quick.

After reading Amys post about nanners stealing energy and then having a look at her again today; she was showing nanners a plenty, so it was time. Plus it bugs me!

Here she is one last time, Hiydrow 2 gallon.

This girl was topped once and then supercropped into kind of a square shape.

Throwback!!

She kinda stinks like burnt rubber. After we were done, the strong smell in the house was borderline nauseating. :cough:

And so that is the end of the line on this nanner throwin Hiydrow, I’m happy to say. Mr. H is already working on Candida 2 gallon, so the tent now looks like this:

Yeah baby! :slide:

My impatience can finally shut up and the rest of the dominos can start to fall. But first I gotta go help my man. Hope you're all doing great! :snowboating:
