I’m thirteen. Congrats on the harvest and dropping the curtain to reveal new lights! You deserve them!
Not claiming to be a resident budtopsy expert but I didn’t see anything of much concern.
Or to play it safe apply that other mantra.... If in doubt, cook or filter it out.

So the guitar's not in the box? Can you hook the light up to an amp and make it sound like a guitar? I was really hoping it was a guitar.
It is a nice light though and you'll probably get more use out of it, so all in all a good choice!
It hurts to find rot after all that time, but to be honest, it’s just the tops that rotted that are any concern. I’m thankful to read you’re making it into a topical oil. I ended up with an ounce of my Carnival for topicals, and it’s done well for many people over the past year.
Try something different.... when you make the oil try letting it sit in the fridge for a few weeks BEFORE straining and adding the lecithin. For some unknown reason this potentiates the oils. Might as well give her as much bang for the buck as possible.
I’ve managed to cut my brownie doses in half with this approach. Can’t tell you why it works, yet, but I can say from my own experience it’s better after sitting.
Oh yeah.....nice light.

Thanks for swinging through SweetSue! I’ve been doing something similar with my edible oils lately. Not in the fridge per se and not for that long of time, but letting them sit overnight and then running again. I saw that Derby had some crazy strong butter from letting it set in the fridge. One more question, when you say it’s just the tops that are of concern, are you thinking the smaller lower buds would be ok for smoking still? Or should I be using it all for some sort of topical just to be safe?
It was Derby that set us on the course of exploring the idea of letting it sit. I usually let the oil sit in the IP overnight too, and then run a second cycle, because we learned from experience that you’ll get a more complete decarb that way, but the sitting in the fridge does something else we can’t yet explain.
I try to remember to take it out at least once during the setting stage to bring it back to liquid form with a hot water bath, then toss the jar back into the fridge. I hope someday to have better testing available, because IMHO there’s some transformation going on beyond decarb, and I for one would like to understand what it is.

Helloo grow buddies! Yesterday some events unfolded, so here comes a hefty update. I brought out Candida 1g for a trichome check. She’s still not ready. But while I was in the tent, I noticed Hiydrow was sporting some nanners. I’m not surprised because her mom did the same thing at 9 weeks after flip. I just thought I had more time. It seems that after she starts foxtailing, the second big push of pistils brings bananas with them. 
Buuuut, I took the opportunity to get some good photos for anyone who hasn’t really seen them before, I know it took me a little while to learn to spot them.

There were so many, I definitely chopped her. Since this is an annoying thing that only Hiydrow is doing, I decided to not keep taking clones from her. After some deliberation and encouragement, I culled the clone I had going too. I do have one more seed of Hiydrow. I’ll grow it again someday and hopefully that one won’t nanner up so badly at her finish.
It’s funny to me, I was so sure Candida would be ready next. But after checking trichomes on the Hiydrow, just shows you never know! Even though the nanners put some urgency into the harvest timeline, she is pretty much ready already.

I told Mr H we need to get a small fridge for the garage so I can dry low and slow! Lol, we’ve got about 3 months until the next harvest batch, so that’s the timeline.
So we’re one step closer to the big rearrange and upgrade! 4 to go

Congrats on the harvest Hh! Good call on culling the Hiydrow clone don't need any more nanners in your life! I hope the new drying closet works well for you hopefully it's easier to get that nice drying environment. Looking forward to the rearrangement and the upgrades!

I’ll harvest the last four plants and give the tent a good scrub down. I’m not really concerned about it this time, these cbd plants will mostly end up being oil for Mr H.Outstanding photos!

Lol, I do not play piano, but I have been told many times that I have piano hands. Maybe I’ll learn some day? I also have a guitar I need to learn how to play. Bucket list!
