Welcome my friends, to the last update of 2019 (unless I make another one later).
Now that all the madness has died down, visitors have gone back home and Mr H is back to work, ahhhh. Life resumes and I have a lot of work to do in the veg tent.
I gave them the good quad training in the beginning and then I just kinda let them go on their own. Normally I do a lot more placement training with the side branching that come off the main four. We will just have to wait and see just how they end up I guess!
I need to make an attempt at some clones soon (like today or tomorrow). Nightingale and Candida are the two I don’t have any more seeds for. I have one more Hiydrow, but I’ll probably take some cuttings from her too, just in case we love it. I’ve been waiting for Candida to grow out more so the cuttings will be stronger and so I can see which ones are maybe not going to make it to the top of the canopy. Yikes, this is always how I get into trouble. “Waiting” for this reason or that, meanwhile the other plants get unruly and that’s just about where we’re at right now!
Lol, I’ll take some cuttings and then have a couple days of recovery, I’ll be flipping to 12/12 soon after. Right now they’re on a 20/4 schedule, I need to figure out how I want to go about changing it. I keep the house pretty cold at night, so I don’t want them to be too cold if lights are out, but I also don’t want to risk light leaks having too much of a different nighttime than the household. Hmmm
My brain isn’t awake enough to analyze that any further.

Pistils are turning amber, but obviously not enough to break out the loupe quite yet. I bought a usb microscope, so I should probably start setting it up at least. Hopefully have it figured out by the time I need it, that would be nice.
OG Kush #2 is impressing me. I know she has less colas than #1, but they are getting rather thick. I wonder if she might overtake #1 by the end.
And lastly, good ol Purple Kush just kinda hanging out in the corner.
She’s two weeks behind OG #1 and has been largely ignored ever since flip. She doesn’t have a lot of leaves, so no plucking. I worried at the beginning that she’d be a spog, but she stretched out real nice and I really only water and occasionally rotate. Easy peasy! She won’t have a huge yield, but it’ll be nice to have some cbd soonish.
