Well my friends, I made it through my week of madness. And today I was finally able to give my girls some overdue attention. There’s more to do of course, but for now, I must rest.
I spent most of today hydrating and rinsing coco (ugh,
the worst!!!). But happily - I also fired up the big tent today!!
It was getting pretty crowded in the small tent, so it was definitely time. But I was worried about getting the humidity high enough in there with all the extra space. Plus it’s been super cold and dry here the last few days. I took a page out of @Preston9mm’s book and put my wet coco pots in there too, and it’s actually doing a good job and keeping the humidity nice and high for now.
(I aim for 50-60% in veg)
I had planned to let them get acclimated to the new tent before I did any training... but then I didn’t.
Hiydrow - quadline training
Northern Lights - quadline training
sorry for the weird close up. Apparently that’s the only follow up shot I took.
Notice the nice sized stump at the topping site.
The rest of the smallies aren’t ready for training yet. I like to wait until they are working on their tiny 6th node before I top. These girls were working on their 7th, so I’m behind a little, but that’s ok. For the quadline training, I stripped away the 1st and 2nd nodes and then topped above the 4th, leaving as big of a stump as possible. This will help provide extra support down the road when I tie down node 4 and hopefully prevent any splitting or tri-lines.
Now over to the small tent. OG Kush #1 is kind of droopy and sad. She did not like the humidity drop. I’ve put the humidifier back in, so things can level back out. Hopefully she will bounce back soon.
I think she’s ready for some defol, but I’ll save that until tomorrow or something. I’ll wait for her to perk up first I think.
OG Kush #2 hit her stride while I wasn’t looking. She nearly caught up to #1 (not quite, but close)
Sorry for another fast, bad photo, but you get the jist. I think she’s finishing up her stretch as well. I’ll probably defol them at the same time.
And lastly, ol Purple Kush cbd. She is a little weirdo for sure. Some nodes are so stubby and the other side will be nice and long. She makes no sense, but I love her just the same.

Well, that was a Thanksgiving sized update. More to come as I get caught up with my girls in the next day or two. And now to go get caught up with everyone else!!
