Heavenly Hybrid’s Hideout: Jump In Anytime

Everything is looking terrific but what really caught my eye was the perfectly green leaves on the DDA. o_O

LOL!
Thanks Shed, it’s crazy! I haven’t seen a green one before, this one does have some purplish buds, does it still count as a greenie?
Things are looking very nice in there, HH!

Odd- every DDA I see looks totally different , you got one of the pretty ones...
Thank you carcass
I agree. You definitely have a knack for DDAs. Remind me again if you topped and trained her?
Thanks HG, I did top her above the third node, and trained the arms out a bit during stretch. She’s been pretty dang easy.

Another day another harvest! Hi again :) the tester bud we tried for mango kush was good to go, so last night, down she went!

Kept her whole this time

Today I plan on checking on the OG kush. If that one is finished too, I’ll hang them both in the tent to have a bit more control over the drying conditions. If OG isn’t ready, mango will have to stay here.

I was planning to trim some up for low and slow, but after removing the fans, I wasn’t feeling up to it anymore. I suppose I could still grab a couple branches for it, it’s not too late, right?

I’m going to give the trim bag a chance on these buds. It’s much less leafy than the blackberry and tighter packed buds and i think those are the type of buds that work best in there. - Btw, the blackberry kush is my total favorite so far. Mr h’s favorite is the cpk, but that’s no surprise to me. Still a few more to go before an actual favorite is declared, but it’s tough competition ahead!

I hope all is well with you and you’re staying safe out there!

Congrats on another successful harvest, HH!

Great harvest, and a real nice thumb!

Thanks HG! :thanks:
Great harvest, and a real nice thumb!
Lol, thanks carcass. It’s a piano thumb :thumb:
Another beauty from the Queen of Kush, and even the larf looks great! :welldone:

So far this is working out rather well. :)
Thanks Shed. I was hoping he would like something other than the blackberry. The way he plows through his faves, I’d hate to have to hide it away from him. :laughtwo:

Hello HH!

Once again, I fell a few pages behind (it seems to be how I roll) but really enjoyed ketching up. :Rasta:

That DDA is one for the books but I'd really like to suck on that Lemon Auto. She looks like yummy in the making!

As expected, all of your plants look Heavenly!

Congrats on the Mango harvest!:bravo:
Your auto tent is looking awesome - I guess I'm the only one who can't grow a decent DDA. :laughtwo:

Thank you kindly gents! I assure you, with DDAs, it’s pure dumb luck. ;)

I wanted to check on the trichs for Amnesia and DDA, just because they have both slowed their drinking lately. Amnesia has also started changing colors (faaade!) But I saw something I wanted to run past you all and I’m a bit concerned - esp after I had bud rot on another plant!

These are the pics of Amnesia auto

I don’t like the look of those strings...
If it is some mold or something, please advise! Hopefully it’s something I can mitigate? There’s still some clears, so I would plan to wait for chop, but if it’s something sinister, I want to get it out of there.

I’ll post up my pictures of DDA in a bit, not that its ready yet, but for s’s and g’s. Hope all is well with you and if you’re feeling stressed, remember to take some big deep breaths :meditate:we’re in this together.

Amy tossed her plants that looked like that.

Her take on the subject starts here:

I‘ve navigated the terrain of disappointment, denial, shame, denial, self-blame, denial, momentary despair ... and then recognition that I still have jars full of bud, followed by solid acceptance of the fact that moldy bud IS NOT medicine. So unless there is some option to turn them into topical oil, which still makes me a bit nervous, it will all get trashed or burned. I don’t plan to be messing w mold.

Faaack, not what I was hoping to hear. I pulled it out, I’ll have a good look and see how bad the damage is. Now to decide, do I want to deal with the hassle of drying to make an oil, or just toss it and move on with the next harvest... poopy.

You can go direct from harvest to oven-dry-to-decarb if you're going to make topical oil. It's a shame about the mold though. :(
What would the oven temps/time be to do that Shed? That seems low maintenance enough.

Well I'm in the minority here, but those look like spider webs to me and I've seen a lot of those suckers lately. No tiny white spots on your leaves, HH? (I feel foolish for asking.)

Not that I’ve seen yet. I’m going to go through it in a moment and see the extent of it.

I would heat until dry at about 180º, and then turn it up to 240º for standard decarb.
Gee that looks hot and crispy to me, but I realise those numbers are in Fahrenheit, ovens in my neck of the woods are in Celsius for which 240C is about 460F.
