HealingKronic's Dankouver Soil Grow

yup well if its a single out ungrounded lamp timer it might only be rated 1100w or 850w even it should say on the case. 1875w is pretty typical for a mediocre timer or power strip.

indeed a visit to their website says

Re: update!

hey all DAY 11

so i decided to make a preemptive strike against powdery mildew... no signs since the one time when they were about 8" tall. this stuff my hydro shop sold me is tits. i only used it the one time when they first had it and like i said, it never came back. i think it is called eagle20? not sure, its an unlabeled bottle. i decided why wait for it to return? i gave them a full treatment today.

while i was in the room giving them a spray by cell phone light (always spray at least an hour before lights come on to avoid light burn)... when i was done i decided to check for light leaks and sure enough there were a few mainly around the window but also from my plastic flap door. so tonight i did a re haul on those two items.

i took off the door flap and made a larger one that overlaps onto the wall more. as for the window i basically covered the window with my light tight black plastic and screwed a wood frame around the window to hold it down. after i was done i realized it was too tight and no fresh air from the open window could get in to level the temps out. with my new door flap it really got hot quick!

i came up with a very nice design that i am currently using with great success! i knew the best way to keep light out and have fresh air come in was to build a box around the window but the window is too big for that. had to improvise (as usual). anyways here is my design:

room25.jpg

so it looks kinda like a chimney. the black openings are covered with folded over window screen to help dampen any light. in the drawing you can see the gray area which represents the black plastic. the long yellow areas are 1x2 boards sealing the plastic down around the vent! so now my 400 cfm can fan is pulling that nice fresh cool air from outside! temp is back to a nice 74.4! :slide:

looks much larger than it really is in this pic. its only about 2 ft wide.

HK, nice design. I wanted to +rep you, but it said I got to spread it around before I can get ya!

Smokin and token = brilliant minds. You must be at it big time! I'll get you later.

update!

DAY 13

plants look great! tallest lady is at 33 inches. vertical growth has slowed from 2 inches a day to around 1 a day.

lots of flowers showing up everywhere! pics below:

leaves show no stress! today is the last feed with FF open sesame. friday will be the next feeding day and will be switching to FF beastie bloomz. gave the plants 1.5 Tbs of Guano. flowering NPK. says thats good enough for 2 weeks. only about 47 days left.... :trance:

photo update!

hey everybody thought i would do a big photo update now that things have really kicked off! i was able to take some pics just before the lights came on for the first time and some after they came on! enjoy!

and last but not least here is a shot of the "sauce" i have mentioned earlier.
100_2734.jpg

so a quick rundown on sauce:

according to my hydro shop it is a heavy duty "steroid" for plants. add between day 1-21 of flower for best results. that is the window for the plant hormones to be most affected. it will cause vertical growth to slow to a stop but promotes bud swelling better than a high Phosphorus dose. because it is basically an overdrive nute it will cause some leaf twisting and some strange growth. im not giving it to all plants. just the ones i dont want getting any taller which is about 6 of the 12. that will give me a good basis for comparison as well. just .75mL per gallon and only add pH adjusters. now if you will excuse me i have some watering to do!:rollit:
