HashGirl Grows Runtz Punch & Sugar Black Rose Sponsored By Herbie's

This what mag look like before burn spots. I have a leaf right now that I forgot to add alittle to it.. well I didn't add enough. Cause my dirt is way to low for mag for plants. So I have to give it 2 times per stage. Veg and flowering.. little more on flowering and I didn't.added same amount . U can see the spot coming up. So yeah I would have to say it is mag..deff.

Cal will have tips burn first. And then cal will lock up the mag. Well join with the each other to heal the plant. Then again. People will tell u cal mag. Which little more cal want hurt her.. certain ion metals combine with each other. And them two does the most. Why they sell calMag not just mag and cal mag separate for weed. Plus hard to separate them in a lab also

If you look at mine leaf there u can see looks like zinc also. But u can tell the spots coming up and it's lighter color. Which directs u to to mag.

This same plant just different location

Highya HG.

How many leaves did you find damage on? Where were they located on the plant?

The black tipped one looks like rot. I think I can see where some mold was forming on it. That would indicate that it was moist for a prolonged period.

Hi HashGirl, this one looks like a dose of cal/mag will take care of the issue. Those are classic spots showing sign of calcium deficiency as seen in Dust's pic. I think Shed's correct with his thought about the other one hitting the dirt. I like to look at the whole plant and it's new growth when judging for def's.

Yeah, I've never grown a clone before. Even though she's 59 days old, she's very small. How long do people veg a clone? Is it like starting over with a 2-month (or so) veg time but feeding her at her mother's current age and then flipping to flower?
Never done clones. I only would for one reason: a large harvest of the same strain. Otherwise, what's the point? I would like the opportunity you seem to be taking advantage of though, I will admit....seems you're basically experimenting/learning about how to do clones from scratch, with no worry too much, yes? I mean it seems the clone part of this grow has a lot of value to you just for the learning curve alone regardless of outcome, if that's more clear?

I'm learning off you and the discussion about clones here. It's great.

@Bill284 , you gave a fright face emogee for my cal/mag mention. Do you disagree?

Hi VG.

I only saw damage on the 2 leaves I posted and the black-tipped one was very low down so it's probably what Shed said: necrosis from resting in the dirt.

Zinc and mag can look just alike. Zinc usually not it. Plants don't need much of it . So yeah I would go with giving a little bit of calMag. To her. Just alittle bit now.. just to see if it spreads or more leaves pop up. Then u know for sure it's not zinc.. zinc more less runs throw plant like wild fire. If it's gone while plant would be effected.. it's help immunity of the plant like it does in humans..

I already add Cal-Mag to every feed. Should I add more than the recommended amount? Botanicare Cal-Mag was 1 ml/L but Felonious bought me a different brand of Cal-Mag and it's 2 ml/L.

Never done clones. I only would for one reason: a large harvest of the same strain.

Something interesting I found out from @CO Finest is that topping doesn't always produce a bigger yield. Of the 30 GSC plants he grew, he topped half of them and left the other half untopped and the biggest yield came from the untopped ones. Here's his post about it.

Otherwise, what's the point? Yes, cloning is mainly an experiment. And, I topped the mother so I don't need to top this one, too.

To keep a strain (or a specific pheno of a strain) that works particularly well for what ails ya.
Of course I get that part. Soon enough I'll have room for a mom plant. Can't wait!

Oh not at all my friend @StoneOtter :Namaste:
I'd never do that to you.
If I had a different opinion I'd politely state it with my reasoning.
I don't go putting frown faces usually, I just saw the ugly leaf and thought oh that's not good.
I'll be more careful in the future.
Hope everything is going good this morning.
Take care.

Stay safe

No worries my friend. :Namaste:
I'm so glad you asked.
I would hate for you to think I trolled you in any way.
I hate that sort of thing.
I like to get along with everyone, especially someone I respect so much.
Always happy to be on the same page as you. :thumb:
Happy Growing my friend Stone.

Better be careful @Bill284, Krissi1982 is in emoji jail right now for improper emoji usage.

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Not really, just a computer thing, haha.

I had to reorder  emojis for Krissi and her journals.
I used my whole month allotment on her alone.
Hey @Jon when do you think you will be moved in and running again?
Are you doing outdoor right away?
Thanks

Hi @Bill284 and doggone it I knew you were going to ask that at some point. Unfortunately, due to the extension on my parents part, I won't be out of here until late July. That's why I was able to begin this grow, otherwise we'd have been done with the Apple Blossom for a while. But I know why you're asking, and yes, I am unfortunately going to not be able to do the monster outdoor grow this summer with you guys. Starting them in August? I could grow in triple hydro coco extreme made by Jesus himself and tended to by the angels and I'd still never make up all that lost ground. Lmao. Especially considering you already started your damn monster, yes? So we'll have to do something else in tandem for the fall/winter indoors. Maybe we can come up with a cool idea to present to folks in a journal with a tandem grow or something, we can discuss later on. That might be fun, huh?

I will do some outdoor plants starting in August and probably not put them out til they veg for a month at 24/0 indoors then toss them outside maybe mid September to bud, and if it gets too cold by October just move them back inside to finish up. So not really, but sort of. Lol.

It's all good Jon no problem.
I figured with things being put back that might happen.
We can talk elsewhere.
Thanks.
