HashGirl Grows Alpine Star CBD, Carnival, Dark Devil & Raspberry Cough

Thanks, Boo. I love the look of Alpine 5, too.

I bought a new Mars Hydro FC 3000 light this morning. I hate the blurple lights of the light that's in his tent. I want to be able to look into the tent when the lights are on and see at a glance if there are any issues.

Anyhow, it caused some tension in our household as Felonious wasn't entirely supportive of getting it right now. I told him I would pay for it personally as I knew the money wasn't in our budget for it but he insisted on paying for it but I still feel bad. :(

Sometimes ya just have to go forth and go for it. Wait until he sees the difference in the buds! He's going to change his tune I bet.

Thanks, Stone.

He wasn't disputing the light as we already have two of them in two of the tents. It was just the cost and the timing of the cost for him. He's not bothered by the blurple lights.

Guess what time of the week it is? You got it. It's Weekly Update time.

The biggest news with the plants this week is that Alpine 5 had a definite lean to her so I've staked here with a short bamboo pole, a pipe cleaner and a clip.

They also appear to be drinking less even though they still have a ways to go.

And, that's it. Let me know if you see anything amiss or if you have any comments or suggestions.

Thank you and have a great day!

Thank you, Mr. S. I think I'm getting the hang of it thanks to you and my other mentors. This week was my 1 year learning to grow cannabis anniversary. I think I've made a good start and am looking forward to continuing.

I love their shapes and how they're super frosty HashGirl!

I agree, Stone. I do think the Alpine Stars especially are quite beautiful especially ALP5.

The Carnival hasn't gotten very tall and now, I'm wondering if I'll be growing a taller strain in the summer grow that might be better grown outside? I'll have to investigate.

Hey does anyone remember the 420 member, @LEDRF ? He/She had a YouTube channel where he/she documented their grows and in the case, I want, his/her Dark Devil Auto grow where she got 116 grams from one Dark Devil since that's easily 11x more than I've ever gotten and I want to know his/her secret. So, if anyone has a link to his/her channel, it would be greatly appreciated.

Felonious and I found the video online last night. I haven't watched it yet though but am planning on watching it today.

I'm pretty sure that's the guy I was talking about. He grows em good! Never saw rockrool used like that before, pretty cool! Another great DDA grow was in pearlite I believe. Another passive hydro method. Those two methods seem to favor the DDA. I grew 4 out a while back and had fun and a pretty good grow in LOS. If you want, here's a link. Thanks, Stone. My first grow was a hempy grow and the plants I grew were 2 Dark Devils. I got a grand total of 14 grams from the 2 of them. This is why I want to figure out how people get a bigger yield from them.

If I don't figure it out, I probably won't grow Dark Devil again once I go through all the seeds. I do love smoking/vaping it or in an edible but I get a very similar high from Carnival and from Big Devil XL and since they're both photos, it's more likely I'll grow them.

I've been looking at the Big Devil xl. I hope you're right! I was thinking it could be a nice heavier yielder than the dda. My ddas got less than 4 oz I'm pretty sure. One tip is to not accept the seeds folks have made of it. Only because from what i see they are mostly smaller plants. Otherwise it might be the luck of the seed pack bought. I was happy with mine 3 of 4 were ok weight wise, the other was a little fireplug but heavyish and good bud. They all grew different. It's a weird plant with many faces.
So you have had Big Devil xl?

Yeah, Felonious grew Big Devil XL last summer and I'm going to grow 2 of them plus 1 Carnival this summer.

Half of my DDA seeds were purchased from Dinafem and the other half were made by Rifleman and were given to me from a previous 420 friend.

I also have 2 Devil's Carnival seeds and am thinking I'll try growing one of them next year.
