I'm also confused on what the difference in pressure does? I'm very familiar with bottle Jack's sadly as well as Porta powers or pony pumps , sorry for all the questions but these things are expensive I want to know ..

@HashFart We were looking into a press last year. My wife loves Dabs and she wants one bad. Thought my research may help you. We/I are leaning twords the DabPress.

I've got fam where that's all they smoke is rosin / shatter... They make little balls of it and smoke it on ashes in a pipe. A little goes a long way.
You can build your own frame .
See if the one on Amazon works. The list that @Morda Grown has there , I use the 160 micron bags for rosin . I started like @DonkeyDick with out the bags because we were smoking it . I like the 7 gram cylinder puck maker . I have the 14 gram , but I’d rather do two 7 gram pucks .

Yeah bromes. I use my own 10t portapower.
I made a DIY pollen press type of arrangement. It’s basically a bit of pipe that fits in a 3” g-clamp and improvised from there (except I spun the bits up on a lathe). Using coins, say. A big one on the bottom and a smaller one that fits inside. And a bit of 1” stainless tube 2 and a bit” long. Life hack: use non stick paper top and bottom.
You mos’def need the bags for squishing hash which I for one want to see you do.

I agree 100%, I know some say that using solvents like Butane are fine. I personally just don't like the idea. The only way I would do Dabs is if it were fresh squeezed by myself. I guess it is just the old school in me.

On a tangent - if this old donkey hadda heard of rosin back in school it would’ve been a different ride. (Rosin wasn’t around of course. It just seems so obvious when you do it).
I reckon HF wouldn’t rattle when he walks with all the pills he famously takes if he jumped up and got stuck to the tailgate of the metaphorical Rosin Wagon. I’m not gonna be the donkey that tells a guy with hunting dogs how to live his lifestyle though. You tell him.

@DonkeyDick aged himself enough with that photo of a space case buster ,,,,,, I remember the sketchy with Pyrex glass over the gass stove for some what now is considered dumpy honey oil.......
Sadly cannabis does not lower uric acid levels in my joints or breakdown Chrystal forming in my joints , it helps with pain yes eliminate the issue no , I've looked in to building the cage out of large section of quality ready rod, I might just by a pollen puck thingy this old farts lathe is sitting at the back of the shop and has not been used in many moons I'm actually trying to sell it ,,,, I might just by a set up and use one of my pony pumps , I find the dabpress website confusing I think they are out of stock but hopefully I can get something going here before this grow is complete , I'm still confused as to the temp and what roll it has , I'm also confused about why you would smoosh the blonde hash , is there a difference in the rosin between the hash and flower

I’m always late. I’ll follow along…Hello I'm hashfart and I'm going to try and scrog 3 bubba kush and a blueberry.
Tent: 4x4
Veg light: budget led veg spec
Flower light: elevated demon board
Flower light: budget led red spec
Soil: promix hp
Fan: inline+carbon filter+monkey
Nutrients: future harvest
Fat dog: pierogi
The temps vary with the type of smoke . I always start out with 190 degrees and might go a little higher like 210 degrees. If I had it to buy again I’d build Grandpa Tokin’s press with the biggest plates made by dab press . @Northern Hydro fascinated us with her work on the press . @Dutchman1990 has a press thread in his signature, helpful read . I haven’t pressed hash yet .

It why we haven't pulled the trigger as well. Something always comes up that is more important. This year we decided the green house was more important than the press. Both cost about the same. It is hard to press anything without the grow first,

@HashFart Here are a couple daytime shots of a my Bubba Branch Cola and the Main Cola. This is the first year I have purples in my grow. Looking forward to seeing how yours do!
I saw a study that was saying Temp has some effect on color. We have had several cool nights and it was after the first few that this and 1 other started turning purple.
My other Kush plant did not do this though. It was also the one that had the Corn Borer early on in its life. That may be why it did not show the purple. IDK...
