Harley's Airpot Grow - White Widow - Liberty Haze & Lucy Under LED

sativas are the best. i get the same highs from sativa and indica, but the sativas are usually just the stronger plants and have a higher peak. i think they say indica has more cb's and all that because they have a tendency to ripen from cloudy to amber much quicker..just harder to grab at the right time. with sativas you have some time until amber, so theyre labeld as "trippy".

its kinda like how we label our races. black, white, asaian all the same species, all the same on the inside but we as mankind created a new label called race or "subspecies" becuase of their difference in growing traits due to the enviornment theyve spent the most time evolving in.

looks like chemdawg was originally a indica heavy plant, and then it was taken to a hot part of mexico and turned into an out of control beast.

Very nice. So hard to get used to the alien like color of LED, I love it.

Great job so far, I am using your journal as one of my guide's for my upcoming LED grow. From your results so for making me lean toward the California LED lights. Was going for a 4X4 tent. Your using the smaller of the solar storm, what is your exact room size again?

Part of me is thinking about either 4 of the solar flares. I lose the UVB but get flexibility of different lamp height. And it about $100 cheaper then the 800W solar storm.

Or go with 2 X 400W Solar Storm(your model). or 1 X 800w solar storm.

Probably the most prudent would be to get 1 X 400W for starters and see from there..

From your results so far with your lamp what would you do?

Thank you Flower I think the first one is coming down in a week as I have some of the White Widows that are ahead of others. Lucy is behind all the White Widows and Liberty Haze is behind the White Widows and Lucy, which is good that will let me harvest a little at a time :peace::thanks::circle-of-love::welcome:
 
a week? i usually go to at least 65-70 days. they will gain a lot more weight if you wait it out.

the never stop growing..trust me. its the rouge pistil movement. the flowers will start stacking new flower on top of one another at one point. usually around week 10 from pistil, all pistils will be orange and trichs fully cloudy.

ive left my plants as long as possible and they get chunky, and i dont really run that much light. i had a 150 watt light..i was running 4 plants at a time so thats 150/4=37.5 an i was pulling around 30 grams per plant

if you dont already, and you have the will i would suggest flushing a week or 2 before that 10-12 week mark

these girls are by all means healthy and not over or underfed, so they should finish as fast as possible for its species. the flush at the end also kinda rushes them a bit, so we say/think lol.

chemdawg never stops growing..so good luck with that one LOL. i do know original haze is STRONG, and chemdawg is STRONG. youre in for a treat. chemd is lemon and haze..its probably super lemon haze genetic.

Do not let me or anyone influence your decision on harvest. The plants meds change throughout its budding phase. You may benefit from an early harvest...
 
Hi Harley, Did you try that popcorn bud you picked yet?:bong: That high will be your biggest influence as to when to harvest. I've sampled my plants 3-4 times now and it has changed from rather cerebral to a couchlock high, which is what I wanted.
BTW-My girls are all coming down in the next day or two because I found mature seeds in a bud (guess I didn't find that nanner in time) and I don't want them devoting any more energy into seed formation. Have a good weed day! :peace::):ciao:

I think so- the plant herself came from feminized seed and she popped a nanner on top of one of her colas a couple of weeks ago so she self fertilized. Unless I misunderstood what I researched the seeds should be female since no male dna was involved. I'm going to do more reading about it since all the plants are likely pollinated.

As this will be my first harvest in a long long time I may be jumping the gun a little I have a microscope and will be checking the trics' and getting them to about 50% cloudy as I am looking for an energetic head high. Also I want to let a bud go long enough to get some pollen from nanners. :peace:
