im very interested in the lights you use, when i first checked them out about 2 years ago they got a bad rating and didnt produce well, but they was banks of 2watt i think was about the max back then and it produced very small airy buds, so now they are developing better diodes things can only improve,
keeping costs down is a key area for me, its why i stopped using cfls, i used cfls for my first grow and first journal on this site, i was using lots of 23 watt as their the best watt to lumin ratio plus a load of 30watt cfls, the done the job and when i used enough of them i got plenty of nice plants to harvest, so cfls work great, i was told i was wasting my time as plants would stretch, but i found cfls can be pretty much touching the plants, node spacing was the tightest i have seen, then in flower i could have lights above the plants, between the plants and down the side of the plants,
then i was using around 400watts in total so changed to hps, but i still think cfls do a better job for clones and seedlings, i got a lot less stretch with cfls than i do the dual spectrum hps, distance i guess from the plant is the main reasons, cfls can be pretty much touching the plants, so i still use cfls to start clones and seedlings under, then nodes spacing is tight and grows well when i put them under hps for rest of veg and flower,
but now these leds seem to be doing much better then im pretty sure i could have banks of leds above the plants and stuck to all 4 walls in the grow room, so im watching how harlesy grow goes, so far its all good,
nice job so far my friend,
leds could be the future
