Happy House - First Autoflower Medical Grow - Indoor

Sorry to hear about more dentistry...oy!

I'm not sure I'd call what you're doing to the clones LST because what you're really doing there is just spreading the tops out. Kind of a supercrop without the hard bend. Whatever you call it it will work to let the middle get more light, but I just want to make sure that when we talk about LST we're usually talking about training a young plant so that the main top is laid flat and the rest of the new growth is kept at the same height as the apical top so they all become apical. LST plants end up with an almost completely flat canopy when they go into flower.

Rather than defoliate the clones I would top the tallest branches to make more tops. The more tops before you flip the more buds you'll have! Try to prune with your final shape in mind.

Not sure what you mean about not losing as much when you're drying. Wet weight it pretty meaningless except that most times you can kind of predict you will end up with about 20-25% of that when it's cured.

Nice press! Nice present!

Oh man Happy, I've been away for a minute. I missed you going into clones! Nice job! I'll bet it's hard waiting for that last Auto to finish. I have a little runt Auto that just keeps going. At least you have 3 other plants harvested to smoke on while you wait. Good luck with the Oral SS.

Update - 1 last auto, 3 mom clones and 11 baby clones

Hello all! I finally got on my laptop and am giving an update. Better late than never!

Beuhla is still going strong. She is 104 days old today. She is getting 2 ml of cal/mag, 1.5 ml of micro and 3.5 ml of grow with 6 ml of Big Bud added every other watering. She is huge with so many buds! They are all solid and dense and most are as big as the biggest buds on the other plants. She has outperformed all expectations. Just waiting anxiously for her to be ready to harvest. I feel like it will be very soon as she is killing off a lot of leaves. We ended up bending her over with string and training her to lean because she outgrew the tent. I really never expected this from an auto and I have to wonder if there is more of the cannabis and not as much ruderallis in her.

Next up are my 1st 3 clones of an emerald OG strain. We are waiting for Beulah to be harvested and then we are going to SCROG these girls. We've been topping and FIMing them to work to get their structure good for a SCROG. They are currently on 2.5 ml of micro, grow and bloom with 5 ml of cal/mag. I am planning on switching to Advanced Nutrients PH perfect for coco A&B very soon. My job is getting busy and remain that way through at least August so I need to make it easier for my son and hubby to handle. This is one area that I hope will help. I also am going to have them mix in a larger container so they aren't having to deal with micro amounts for each gallon.

First up is Comet. We had an accident with her and snapped a branch off. But she is recovering well.

Next is Holly.

And Kandy

I took 13 cuttings from the clones and 11 of them rooted. We are planning on getting another tent towards the end of this month, but we will still have to cull the weakest ones. 5 of them rooted before the other 6 and I had them in the big tent snuggled under the mom clones. This caused them to stretch for the light a bit so that is what you see. One of them is really rooting and is almost root bound and I topped it where she was stretching. I plan to do this on the other 4. When I transplanted them, I cut three holes in the bottom of a clear cup so that I could see when they became root bound and then cut three holes in the bottom of a red solo cup. I put coco in the bottom and the rooter cube on top and filled in with additional coco. The clear cup then sits in the red cups. They are being watered straight water with 5 ml of cal/mag in it.

Sorry I've been away so long guys. Between the dentist and work, life got a bit busy for a bit. I'll try to be a bit more regular with my posting or I'll be successful and get hubby to post every so often. You'll get a much more technical update from him full of pictures since that is the type of guy he is.

Happy days everyone!

Pictures look Great!
Good Job with your girls!

Seriously great looking grow room. You've got them dialed in. I love it :circle-of-love:

Beuhla is looking AWESOME! She really packed on a lot of weight since I saw her last. I can't help but admire the clones too.

hey HH ... every thing looking happy and thriving at your end ... i did notice from the budshots that you like to live on the edge in terms of feed ... as all leafs show tipburn ... but hey great job at pushing the limits and not burning the ladies :thumb:

Well - all the leaf burn came at once because I tried some Bud Factor X and my autos did not like it. They haven't burned since. Thanks!
