H00ks Hillbilly Grow - Girlz 2016

Thanks Bud!...I have in the past,(only 1 or 2) but generally no...although I did see a good deal online for a ten pack...I typically use 2 quart canners...I was just trying to cut down on # of jars...I have them out right now...so will be going in 1 quarts with ample air space...When we take off for Mexico in January, I vacu-seal them...easier to stash...seems to work well...cheerz!...h00k...

Speaking of storage, you even use one of those vacuum-pack bag gizmos? The bags couldn't be "burped" like jars, so the buds would have to be cured to the person's satisfaction first. About 20 years ago, I got someone to bag/seal enough to fill a five-gallon bucket for me, and then buried it. <SCRATCHES HEAD> Sure wish I'd have marked to place we buried it a little better. Or used a bucket that still had the metal wire handle on it... But I never got to find out whether or not it'd keep cannabis in decent shape for a few years (was shooting for three, but...). Maybe someone will find it in 1,000+ years. Or whatever passes for "someone" on the planet at that point.

 Not even a small clue of where?

Well... It's narrowed down to 50 acres or so. (Not quite that bad - I'm pretty sure it's "somewhere" towards the middle of it, lol.) I talked my buddy into digging three holes, then he got me a long metal rod and told me to try to find it that way and call him when I did. No, it's just gone (for all intents and purposes).

Moral to the story, don't take the metal handle off the bucket. Or better yet, throw a big chunk of metal into it - and, just to be on the safe side, stick another one ten or twelve inches under the surface as you're filling/tamping the hole.

It's funny. At the time (that I was hunting for it), I just felt kind of silly. NOW, of course, I could easily attempt the impossibility of kicking myself with both feet simultaneously.

..to what, lol, bite me on the arse every time I do something stupid? I'd never be able to sit down again.

The bud was sealed, with melted wax dripped around the jars (was worried about it getting damp), and it's in a bucket under two and a half or three feet of tamped soil - and has been there for years. If a dog could smell that, no one would ever get anything through customs.

  well to smell it..but ok I get it ..too sealed to find.
Start digging :)

I haven't lived there for years. Might even be a house sitting on top of it, for all I know. I just chalked it up to lessons learned. You know... When you're sitting around with friends in the evening, passing one back and forth, thinking up all kinds of ideas...

...some of them ought to be reexamined the next day before actually acting on them ;) .

well..in young age..many "smart" ideas pop up..only to become stupid after a few years... been there done that!
Sooo many times...

I forgot to ask: Are you wrapping the shed in Tyvec? And have you thought about replacing some of the roof with those translucent panels that allow light in but restrict prying eyes? Or, for that matter - since you live in Trudeau's land of magic and unicorns, err, I mean there is talk of legalization in the near future - skylights, lol?

Hook.
Sup man. Make sure u keep it green brutha.

I love them corrugated fiberglass pannels. That's what I'm using on my new walls and roof for the doghouse'. I used one of them vacumn seal-a-meals on some good herbs once.It compressed it tight, so tight I needed a jackhammer to break it up. Keepem Green

Yup wrapped with Tyvek...just because I had some leftover from when we did the house...it really makes a difference with drafts...no skylights in the future......since we have peak/off peak hydro times I need it pitch black when I'm doing 18/6 to maximize power savings...I did do the roof a couple years ago with a product I picked up stateside...corrugated asphalt panels...kinda' looks like metal roofing from a distance and built to last...as for legalization...we'll see if it goes as planned...kinda doubt it will go smoothly...who knows!??...A few of the already legal production growers are expanding...getting ready for a windfall...lolool...Cheerz...h00k...

Just saw a post from you somewhere about your unconventional lighting.. I'm in... Don't know what that means but I'll read back to find out.. Subbed...

...Welcome Grizz!...party's all but over here...structural werk and siding is complete on the girlz shed...prolly stain tomorrow and put up a pic...curing on this years crop continues and the smells are heavenly when burping...sweet...dank...citrus...diesel...the sugar leaf/popcorn bud has been a nice smooth happy burn while the nugs mature more...Glad U stopped by...will be a new journal in April/May...Cheerz...h00k...
