Do you mind if I ask what you studied? I try and read as much as I can around bud without getting overwhelmed but have a genuine interest what a plant actually is. "It's better to know how a thing works than a thousand other facts about it". Not sure I've quoted it word for word so not it's sure it's a quote but I think it makes sense. Any direction I should go?

I come from a manufacturing and distribution back ground, estimating, planning, things of that nature. ....

Now it's starting to sound like I'm applying for a job

I just like to have a lot of fun in life and learning is fun. I love hands on experience and try to get as much as I can on the side while I have more focused projects going. That way I can keep the "be really good at one thing" effort in effect while having the fun of chaos style learning too.

You my friend are already going in a good direction. You are here at The rest is simply a question of how many days you can go without sleep because you are here.

Here on the humble home front I plucked a seed from the Avalanche x Scott's Dark Side to get a better look. Still green as a melon under that skin. Another week and we'll check again. The bud itself will be done any day now so it won't be long before the seeds follow suite.

Electro gypsy I do the same thing! I am maintaining about 26 phenos right now and this is the easiest way for me to keep multiple copies of the same strain. Fluorescent light. 4" square pots. I just keep topping them until I can transplant them up to 1 gallon pots and they take off.

Glad you mentioned light. 6500k spectrum at low levels keeps them in stasis better IMO. Fluorescent is perfect.

So. Loving that quote so much I put in as my favorite quote in the profile. Made a few other adjustments too. Figure I may as well stay a while. Well actually I made that decision a long time ago. It's the unpacking part I've been avoiding lol.

So far so good. Not as productive around home as I had hoped but it is supposed to be a holiday lol. Hope you had a good one too. Didn't scrape you knee climbing out the window and sneaking to a festival did ya? Just so long as you are not like that dude on salvia that goes out the window she'll never know. That V-tube vid is piss your pants funny if you haven't seen it

Barely touched the Ava mother crossed with SDS and this seed fell out. So close. The bud is reference only and not the actual mother.

Same for the Scott's Dark Side bud on the left. That one is about a week or two premature but got hacked for space and it was a small pollen donor anyways. Those almost always end up in the other purposes jar. The seed there needed a little help but they are also very close. It's an S1 version of SDS.

That Fancy keebler looks like some killer bud... I was checking out his clone shippers, pretty cool.. Saw them on Amazon. I didn't see a price for his clones though. He does some big pheno hunts so I bet it's the pick of the litter...

No knee scraping today, spent my time at work and with the fam.. I didn't charge my phone last night so I was going through 420 withdraws all

Your ever smoked that stuff before.? I had a friend who would bring it down from Mariposa and the high only lasted like 30 seconds and tasted like shit... I was already a avid Pot Head so maybe I just took it well.. I was usually the guinne pig and was known to handle my drugs.. lol... My younger days... Never liked pills though, they always made me itchy and puke. .. lol. That day sucked

Yeah I'll stick with my weed and kratom. Those medicines do me just fine. No getting stuck in reverse for me thank you very much. I tried the extract a few times several years ago. I have a friend who owned an herbal med store and he gifted it to me. One nasty hit.. yeah ok I kinda feel it. One more and holy shit hang on I was walking through the dinning room at the time and snapped out of it clutching a chair and on my knees.

This entire post was so spot on, all the way down to the final statement. If you'd told me two years ago that I'd chalk up this many posts and spend this number of hours immersed in what I do here, I'd have laughed at you and the idea that anything could be this enthralling. The learning curve here is breathtaking. Hell, I started out knowing absoultely nothing about cultivating cannabis, medicinal cannabis, or the endocannabinoid system. I found I couldn't keep from learning, and the membership just fired me right into study mode.

And it's all been so much fun, and accomplished in the most consistent state of bliss, fueled by both the product of my cultivation attempts and this joyful crew that surrounds me.

Gypsy...... the video you left was incredibly moving. So much so that I was compelled to drop another hug for you to find when you woke up, the same way I found your post when I woke this morning.

That's a good one Funny how those little reminders come along at just the right time. I'm pretty sure I've posted that one on the radio before, but never watched the video. Probably typing here instead lol. Shigg's is quite right. Life is pretty amazing when we let it be.

Not much going on here tonight. Snuck in on everyone real quick just before lights on. Pretty much got pollinated bumping that in the dark lol. That's one of three Gobillygoo reversals. This one is in with team flower #2 doing an S1 with her sister. It looks like the American Pie and Domina are in the window too.

So basically playing honey bee here's flower team #1. I'm really not worried about it because I am standing above a full plant reversal of GG and the GG on the left front has a branch under testing which will likely be removed soon. Just GG pollen flying everywhere right now.
And check out Lenny way in the back on the left. That stem has to be pushing a half inch thick lol. She's a total freak. I think I dug out some kind of old skool genetics with that one.

I just realized use seen a ton of bud pics from you but very rarely see plant pics like that... Happy looking ladies and a she male. Glossy green leaves and a reversed plant that doesn't look like shit... your going to have to go over what your working with some day.. 4 tents right???

Yeah, I'm more of a finished product person. Plus that won't be pretty in about 4-5 weeks.
4 tents. A 7x7 and a 4x8 in roughly a 10x20 room. It's tight lol. Hard to stand back and get a pic of a good plant without getting some ugly mixed in or standing in the other tent. The other two tents are 32x32x60. One's for clones and the other is for pre-veg but right now it's the only veg. I'll have my veg tent back in a few weeks but I'm not sure which to go with just yet. The girls will decide.

Things are going to get much more focused in the future. Matt is sending more goodies even though I'm not done with the first lol, and Jim is sending testers too. It'll be crazy fun
