Hey GT, I have a question about nuting and watering soil plants. I am a little confused. I have heard some people flush and nute every watering. I have heard others say they alternate between nuted water and regular water every watering. I hope this makes sense. What is the correct most efficient way? Your answer is very important to me. :popcorn:

Well, my friend, that depends on a couple different things. Different soil mixes are gonna either hold more water, or be very aerated, which is what a majority of MJ plants like. Another would be the strain you are using. Generally I like to water on a WWF, or Water, Water, Feed(nutes, teas, etc.) but, there are strains that can really take a heavy feeding schedule, and you can really push those plants. Also, some plants are very finnicky with nutes, and are sensitive to burn, so you have to really dial that in to your set-up. Generally I like to let my pot go dry and water just before the plant shows signs of wilting, but I like to stress some others and let them wilt every other watering during certains periods of their growth, this is also good if you are trying to push a plant to form feminized pollen, which is what is collected to create feminised seeds. Most growers have their own way of watering and swear by theirs over any one else's, but I say just find what works for you my friend. Stay green, God bless, and PEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAACCCCCCEEEEEEE!!!!!
 
i couldn't have said it any better myself, thats how water mines aswell, water water feed, unless the nutes say different.. some nutes already have a schedule to go by, like the nutes that i use say to feed water feed, which i think is alittle too much due to the fact that they are gettin nute burn, but yea like he said you just gotta dile it in which is a pain in the ass but once you get it, its all down hill from their because then you know what your plant likes, but also all plants are different so you just gotta experiment to see what works , but im in no way a professional at this at all, just some things require more knowledge then others.. thats just my theory.. :tokin:
 
Also, to add, there are nutes that you add EVERY time, really like these nutes, but normally are expensive..mostly organic

Well, got ripped off on that job I've been working so hard on...If I weren't a changed person....Looks like I will be broke for a lil while, had to pay my helpers outta savings...Power bill is averaging 700 cause it is so hot, almost outta nutes, and gotta baby on the way, whoa, I gotta find some work fast...really fast, may have to shut down the home grow after this one till I can afford to restock supplies...ohh well!!! hey brotha i know exactly how you feel, im in the same boat, finding a job rite now is beyond hard, doesn't matter what you know how to do, there isn't shit out there, shit sucks, but all you can do is keep your head up and keep moving forward and think positive and things can only get better...hope things get better for ya.
 
700 DOLLARS oh crap! What did your bill avg before the 600watts$? because if it jumped more than fifty dollars a month im out of the indoor hobby for sure!

@GreeN: The light didn't make much difference, just running a/c 24/7 in a 2 story house when temps are over 100 outside, lol
