GT's Ongoing Garden of Weeden - Keep It Simple Stupid!

LOL....been watchin too much politics last few days...and he told me that was one of his reasons for joining instead of just lurking around. he is definately interested in reading your story my friend, and voiced it to me before ...

Just had to bug you a bit Buddy. When are rest of the family joining!!!!:circle-of-love:

Truthfully, that's great that he joined for you. Hope he likes my story. Bet he has a few to tell too, :Namaste:

Believe, me I've asked them to join, and leave Facebook(EVIL!) alone. Maybe I can get him to tell me some while I type it, currently he is at 12 wpd(words per day) lol

Long time no speak!!! How have you been GT!! Hope everything is well with you new little girl. Mine has just started walking. Boy oh Boy. Do I need energy to keep up!!!

Great to hear your Dad joined. I am sure he is a great person just like you!!
You are right about Facebook! :high-five:

Politics.... I am going to have to stop watching the networks. I know what you mean. And every network wants you to hear thier agenda. I really wish there was a network that was neutral. Unfortunately there isn't. :circle-of-love:

GT I noticed on earlier pages that the PPM meter you have the exact same one I bought. I was wondering if you can give some details on how you would use it in your soil grow to measure the right amount of nutes or ppm of your water. Jjames helped me once before on the subject, but I dont feel I really have a comfortable level of knowledge to use it effectively. It would nice to optimize my nute levels while I have the technology to do so.

I must say out of all the journals I've looked over, Ive never seen such a warmth of love from your subscribers. Your lucky to have such a following of good heart-ed people GT, and we're lucky to have you on this forum :goodjob:

Really, I just got the meter to check my tap with. It is a steady 70ppm!! Which is perfect. I'm gonna be using it when I venture into the Hydro experiment this spring also. Next I need a pH meter, which I believe is way more important than PPM's because if you mix your nutes according to the BPN chart, the PPM's should be spot on, Corey really has his schedule dialed in.
And SC, thank you, I've been going through some tough stuff lately and my friends here really help cheer me up, I'm just so damned depressed because I dont have any work and we are broke. We are pretty much upside down right now. It is I that is lucky my friend!
Peace and God bless,

Hey buddy, I think the Farmers almanac calls for this to be a soggy winter... I beleive it too, it's like spring up here, dead of winter @ 45F puddles of water and bugs in the air?!

:welcome: to Dad!!! You have a good boy sir (yeah right) Congrats on the new Grandkid.

Bro, What the heck is with this weather. And I do firmly believe in the Farmer's Almanac, always have, I even try to harvest according to it, and other stuff.

I will let my pops chime in on that, lol, when he gets his but back on, he is pretty much bed riden, and rarely able to get on here, so I update him, my mother, wife, and sister recently joined too, my wife is actually lurking around and reading too. Hope she sees the posts about smoking cigarette's and gets inspired to quit like me and a few others did.
Peace and God bless,

Keep your head up GT I know its human nature to worry but Gods in control of everything! it helped me to read about Job then my eyes were open to the blessings around me my friend. just do the nestea plunge into Gods mercy and grace!
can I get an amen 420! :Namaste::high-five:
ps I got my link fixed in my signature by the wonderful 420girl and would love to have you laughing at my nube show! and great to have your dad here with us. If my dad knew I was here he would try to dround me and my plants with in holy water! It took me at least ten minutes to type this haha! :peace:

Thank you GG. I have my days just as anyone else, but those that know me know where my heart is. I just have extremely bad days when I have them, you know, the days that can affect the ones you love, even though you don't mean to. Hold your tongue, if wielded wrongly, it can cut and scar. This is the hardest thing for most to learn, me included, I still slip.
I really find comfort reading Job myself, he had the life like 99% of people have, but he still remained faithful, no matter how hard the adversary tried to pull him from the Light. I urge anyone, whether a believer or not, to read Job, maybe be inspired.
Peace and God bless,
GT

Hey GT,

Have read it...more than once. I agree, believer or not, it's worth the read, makes you appreciate what you have.

My stepmother has told me more than once I have the patience of Job. I don't know if I agree with that but it's a story to draw good lessons from for sure.

watch that tongue, it can be a very sharp instrument

:peace:

GT -

Just wanted you to know that you and you're family are in my thoughts often, even if I've not been around as much lately...

I really hope you are able to find work soon, and find the continued strength to weather these challenges. I'm in a similar situation in many respects, and it's soooooo trying sometimes. I admire your strength and faith.

Hang in there my friend! X

Well my friends, got a chance to get over to my buddy's who is taking care of the babie's til I can get the cave fixed and better than ever, so here's a sneak peek. Think I will add 3-4 pics every few hours to keep it interesting instead of all at one time:

First time cloning with Coco. Used Clonex gel. Both plants FELL!! from 5 foot up, out of their pots just about 4 days after I cloned them, and both survived!

One on left is from my Southern Comfort (SugarCane male x Quasar Female)
And one on right is Georgia Skunk.

By the way, those roots are just 10 days from the day I stuck em in the coco. Loving this stuff.

GT, they look very nice...I didn't know you could put them in clear containers like that. Wouldn't the light affect the roots?

BID---You are so on point with that. I have been homeless before too and was not that long ago, maybe about a year ago. Here, where I have literally no family or friends. It was scary but it showed me just how strong I can be when pushed to the brink.
