GR's 5 Plant Vertical Grow Winter 19/20

This rez worksheet, using 0 ml Canna B, last two rez's I added Liquid KoolBloom and this rez I went with Dry KoolBloom. Running just over 350 ppm A & KoolBloom which is perfect for my program.
Starting solution PPM, my RO has Calcium and Mag added back to it so the ppm is 118.

This is actually the 43rd day of flower.

All is well, pulled them from the tent today and did a little cleanup and photo op's.

Have taken both Liquid KoolBloom and Dry KoolBloom out the the rez mix with this last rez refill. Went 3 weeks with this program and am now back to using Canna B in the mix.

Have been running two rez fills and at the end of the second fill I add 3 gallon of RO and pH. This reduces the ppm of the rez and I do a mini flush, 3 to 5 gallons used. Been doing this since flip to flower and it seems to be working well. Very minor tip burn, no lockout and good growth.
Three to four weeks to go on the Triple Cheese and a couple more weeks beyond that for the Ayahuasca Purple.

hey gr I thought I would come over here and see if can get a better look its pretty cool what your doing it looks like you've found a way to get a lot of buds is that a dwc grow my son grows that way im a soil guy but I enjoy watching them grow so fast his plants in the same amount of time as mine are 2or3 times as big as mine anyway I like what your doing im subbed if you don't mind!

I am growing 70/30 Coco/Perlite in DTW.

ok im not sure what is dtw my son was growing dwc and switched to something else don't remember but he went back to dwc because he says they grew faster and got a lot greasier im sure you can tell I don't have much knowledge about growing this way but I do like the flowers ill keep an eye!

Loving this grow! Can’t believe I never thought of growing vertically before; using the space on the walls is genius. How big are your pots? And what are the dimensions of each frame you use?

This run is in 2 gallon Smart Pots, have used 3 gallon but the 2 gallon work just fine and easier to remove from the tent to work on them.

I have redone these frames and they are now 40 x 20 inches.
They are 40 x 18 inches, that is the screen attached to the frame the frame is 38 x 16 inches.
This is the older version.

These two tee's are not glued horizontally so I can move the frame back and forth to get them closer or further from the lamps.

In looking at the ladies today I observed that the Triple Cheese's seem to respond well to a Vertical SCrog but the Ayahuasca Purple does not. The Cheeses buds are fat and tight but the AP is very loose and airy. Going to give the AP a little more time than the Cheese but not too far beyond cloudy with a few amber.

Nice to hear you are using 2Gallon smart pots, I just got two of them myself and really like the size of them, perfect for easily being able to move it around when needed.

I got a BF trip cheese seed in the fridge. Thinking if one plant vertical tryout could work for me utilizing a flat 300 fs led. Instead of pointing led down, just hang it sideways and point it at scrog. I use the led in the veg room but it could be made available for a fun run. I am in 5 gallon pails with holes drilled in bottom and sidewalls. We call them, smart pails LOL, but I admit to a bit of envy with regards to better containers.

Update: Day 63

All is well, one week into flush, gradually lowered ppm by adding RO (@ 95 ppm) 3 gallons at a time to the existing rez solution and pH. About another few days to a week.

Checked trichs tonight, Triple Cheese are 25 to 50 % cloudy, harvest soon maybe this weekend or early next week.
Ayahuasca Purple maybe another week or so, all trichs clear.
