Day 39

I think I'm gonna flip them tomorrow. Still on 5g MC, 5ml PT, 5ml CM feed and will probably be there until I see the first signs of flower.

Which MC are you using, Old, New or Vegan? Also, are you using Botanicare CalMag? Your veg plants look amazing and I may want to try and run those numbers through my rockwool to see if the results are similar.

The New/Vegan is all the same, just one of several labels that Greenleaf has on its site. I think the label that says Vegan is the most accurate. If you go to their site, go the the feed calculator, there is an Elemental tab. Click it and it breaks everything down like in Hydro Buddy. I use Greenway Cal Mag Plus Concentrate powder from Amazon that you reconstitute in water. If I recall correctly, numbers wise, it comes out the same as Botanicare.

I have 3 different formulations of MC stored in Hydro Buddy. And yes, the Greenway is identical in formulation to Botanicare, minus the water, lol.

Here's the 3 MC formulations I have saved.

The far right is the correct one to use (9-6-17) for any Mega sold since like October 2018.

I flipped them yesterday, so now they'll be on 8P-8A. I didn't get it done till noon, so that first day was 16-8 and today will be the first true 12-12 day. Let the budding begin!

Day 41

Came home this AM and decided to take a bunch of fans off the bottoms. I normally don't like to trim too much until after the stretch, but last time I watered the girls it was a bitch with all the leaves in the way. Keeping them as low as I can does have some drawbacks. The TC is probably less than a foot. Figured I'd do it before they get their groove on too much. The PC could have filled the tent herself had I not broke one of the mains off and vegged her another week. She's a vigorous grower for sure.

Day 42

Gave the Faux Mix™ a 2 gallon rinse then came back at it with a gallon of feed. The stems on Peyote Critical are quite humorous if you look under the canopy of leaves. Some of them are bent in multiple directions. I readjust the ties to try to reshape it, then a couple days later I'm bending them in the complete opposite direction trying to figure out how to maximize my space. Triple Cheese is a nice square and Peyote Critical is a mess. The fact that she's growing faster than the Triple Cheese only makes it more difficult. Maybe 4 nice little squares, vegged for shorter periods of time, is a better plan in my confined space. 4 weeks of veg vs almost 6. They both are nice, green, and healthy though.

My Veg room is tight too, I F'n hate it too. It's so hard to manage to perpetually produce 8-10 veg plants because I need to of each age, and 3 weeks between cycles of plants, I could easily have 8 plants at any given time, 2 of which are big and block most of the light. I just sucks and I feel your pain!

Pulled the trigger this AM on some beans for the next grow. Bought 25 Purple Urkle's from @Cannapot . Price was crazy cheap, and with my discount code for POTM, it was even better. First time using their seed bank, and I must say, checkout was easy and they take credit cards for those that dont want the hassal and fees of wire transfers. @smokers420 used to have that stain going some 15 years ago and lost his mother. It was the most amazing smelling weed I every smelled. At the time, I wasn't partaking, so I never sampled it. We've both been on the lookout for some beans for a while but never ran across any. I see @Orlando Scout just finished a grow if it about a month and a half ago and his plant was beautiful. Excited to get some in the tent in October when the current crop finishes. The Fall isn't the best time for growing in my tent. The temps come harvest time can get pretty low. Might make for some great color though.
