Growing Without Bloom Nutes By Farside05

Day 14

Lots of growth in the last 3 days when compared to Day 11. I'll have to decide on just topping or quading Peyote Critical in the next couple. They both got a gallon of 3mg Mega Crop, 3ml Pro Tekt, and 3ml Cal Mag. By the time I get to the next watering it will be time to up them to 4 each. Raised the light to get them back to 30k lux. PC had grown up to where she was at about 37k. I had to adjust my timer. We've had enough power outages that the time of day the lights go on and off had gotten several hours out of sync over the last couple months.

Those that have tried the Blue Dream'matic and Girl Scout Cookies from the last grow believe it's the strongest I've grown so far. Not only did I get big yields, the quality looks to have gone up too. Mega Crop? It was the big change. The Faux Mix should have been a good copy of the Pro Mix I was using. Same light. Same strains from the same breeder. I let the Cookies go a bit longer this time too. Wanted a bit more amber. For whatever reason, she doesn't seem to produce the massive case of the munchies the previous run did. Very heavy body stone. I'm liking it.

Yeah.... got my vote on that one buddy.
:bravo:

Stiff competition. LoL
Thanks P. I'm trying to improve my photography skills. This GSC is the most dense to come out of the tent. Half a quart jar is I bit over ounce. The buds are uniformly big. Damn near any bud I would have chosen would have looked the same. Maybe I should have put something in the photo for a size comparison.

The wife has an Impatient hanging basket that's yellowing out pretty bad. We also have a tomato plant that's doing fine but I wanna see if I can bump it up a notch. Mixed up a gallon each of 4g Mega Crop, 4ml Pro Tekt, and 4ml Cal Mag. Gonna use the weed feed recipe and see how they react. In the past I fed an Aloe plant my mix at the time (using Foliage Pro). It was brownish for a week or so but then exploded. Part of the browning may have been the intense light I put it under in my tent. Prior to that it lived in the middle of a room where the nearest window was 6ft away.

We have lift off. The Triple Cheese and Peyote Critical are up. Transplanted their Jiffy Pellet into a Solo cup filled with Faux Mix©. Watered in with Week 1 (actually more like day 1-5) feed. 1g Mega Crop, 1ml Pro Tekt, 1ml Cal Mag. Had to put a string around the middle of the big Blue Dream to reign her in so the babies weren't sitting underneath her. Put the Solo cups up on a stack of pot trays to raise them up some more. Currently they are getting 12k lux.

Jesus my dude that is some massive buddage u got there lmao. Lookn good tho bro an congrats on the new babies they sound like some good strains for sure gud luck bro.

Hey I had a question about this stuff my buddy guy dwn at the hydro shop gave me a bottle of this stuff it's called sns 209 to try out. Its to help get rid of spider mites. Well I was wondering do I set the ph with this stuff to 6.3 like I normally do my other pest spray or jus leave it alone and should I mix it with my monterey garden spray with spinosad in it or jus use it alone? This is the sns stuff.

Whipped up a 10 gallon batch of Faux Mix® to fill my 2 containers and transplanted the Triple Cheese and Peyote Critical this AM between cooking batches of cannabis dog treats for the arthritic Rottweiler. Not sure how much they help yet since this is a newer thing, but she comes begging for them about the time you'd expect them to wear off. I don't think she's really a fan of the flavor, but likes how they make her feel. We gave the other dogs some over the holiday and it seemed to help the Pitbull over her anxiety of loud banging noises. On the 4th she was as calm as a Hindu cow with the world exploding around her. On the 5th she was shaking like a leaf from just a couple nearby mortars before her Scooby Snacks. The other 3 dogs are a bit lazier under the influence, the big Rott is a sloth to begin with, so laying around is normal for her. Dosage is calculated to be about 1.7mg per treat. The smaller dogs (if you call 50-90 lb dogs small) got 1-2 each for stress reduction. The 140lb Rott gets 2-4, up to 2x daily. With the Rott we vary the doage and frequency based on how lame she is that day.

That's awesome I've been wanting to make my dog some thc and cbd treats for awhile now an was guna with all the xtra trim this harvest lol. But didnt know how to make the treats so still needed to find a recipe but do u think u could tell me how u make urs?

I think you should move them into the corners on the diagonal. Won't that maximize the space better? In terms of training shapes I mean.

Ya think? LOL!

I wouldn't mix it with another spray, and I never pH my sprays. Unless your tap water eats through leaves on its own I would just mix and spray.

Something to keep in mind is, if you can help it, don't spray oil on your flowers. I don't use neem or any oil spray (SNS 209 is rosemary oil) on flowering plants. It won't wash off at harvest and can effect the taste of the buds.

Yea I normally dnt do my flowering plants with any kind of foiler if I can at all help it lol. Only this time with my big girl GSC clone which is in flower. I was away an xtra 2days an she was massively thirsty. wen I got back she was droopy an sagging an then the other day I noticed she had alil webbing on one of the tops from spider mites. So since this sns stuff says u can do soil drenches I was wondering if I did that would it help get rid of the mites and would it still effect the taste of the buds if done this way?

Periodically soaking the plants and the soil underneath with a neem oil spray helps control spider mites as well as other sap-sucking insects. Neem oil is not a contact poison; it does not kill the bugs instantly. What it does is interfere with their biological functions, especially reproduction and metamorphosis in arthropods.

Soaking the soil with neem solution is important because the plants absorb the active agents in the oil, expressing it in their tissues. When pests suck the sap, it plays havoc with their metabolism and life cycle, ensuring a lasting action.

Ok so would that work the same then for this sns 209 stuff? Would it be ok to use during flower as a soil drench n not effect flavor?

Yeah training mine is a bitch right now cause I didn't fill my pots up enough and now I got a 3in space between the fabric pots and the stem base and 5in tall plants with 6 nodes :/

Hey there @Smokiemcpot19, I don't know if anyone recommended this already but what I did was roll the bag down into a cuff, kinda like rolling your pant leg up, and then I used binder clips to loop the wire around. I have a photo either in my journal or my autoflower grow picture threads. Have a good one. Sorry about the link below, I'm tryin to figure out how to make it just a link lol
