Growing Ops Presents: GDP Meets the Relatives! - Scrog Run in 100% Coco

Nope there's a hour lighting in between the dark period. Then ill either go straight to 10-14 or just remove the hour light. My first grow I just removed the hour light so I may do 10/14 right away. I could do the Deminishing light. Well see when we get there :)


I just seen on someone elses journal that some guy was hating about if he had the real original GDP or not. So Im going to upload pics of the clipping that came from the original GDP box sent from the donor just incaase some grower come on here and start hating!

GLR (Gas Light Reduction) and DLS (Diminished Light Schedule) are two tools you can utilize if your conditions allow it. There is an EXCELLENT explanation HERE Very well written and to the point. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Ill have to check that out. Ive been doing GLR and loving the benefits. Diminishing light will be included in this run as well. Thanks for the link.

Thanks for stopping in. Its only day 2 since ive planted them. I didnt germinate them in paper towels i just used X's strategy with the rooter plugs. There under a T8 so hopefully we see some heads popping out soon. Im thinking Monday if not a surprise tomorrow :)

I could only imagine and I may have to start a 3rd journal because my BPN will be getting shipped soon. Ill be using the "Blue Planet Nutrients - High Yield Feeding System" So I need to put that in my title. Hopefully 420girl would let me edit this title.
 
this is my kinda grow!! gdp,coco,glr,bpn,t5, yeah baby!! you just need a tent bro! i resisted getting one for a long time then i did and realized they are great, now i have 3 lol

Yea I just got a new location for my grows. Its alot more room I will be able to work with now. Im still stuck on the tent idea though. Its just so out in the open. I would like for everything to be concealed out of view period. Bigger closets or just one whole room is my idea of what i need. I did find this one grow tent thats nylon its pretty thick it looks denim to me. Only $114 4x4x6. So I may get 2 since I have about 20+ plants going right now. Plus Ill be cloning this GDP like nobodies business :)

Any way glad to see your here. I will be needing extra advice on the coco just to make sure im not missing anything!
 
oh come on i visit lots of journals i dont say alot and can barely handle the 75 im subbed to but im like the government im always watching lol :rofl: tents do really improve the inviros i started really seeing major improvments after getting them, 1 word of advice dont cheap on the exhaust get the biggest you can, i put in a 6 inch system and a vented hood ,it made such a huge difference in flower, i have a 4 inch system in veg and its fine for veg but i had problems with the scrog and heat last grow i wont be flowering in there again till i can get a proper fan and hood, my gdp babies just got their second set of true leaves...hmmm think i should clone yet??
 
Yea I have a couple things on amzon wish list. And its a 6" fan. Im looking into getting a 600w or 1000w cool tube also. So that should hold up pretty good for 15 plants.

Second set of true leaves, can you clone something so small? How tall is it? Im not sure if I seen the new updates on your journal. But hey I seen BuckShot clone a thumb nail size so hey anything possible. Me I usually wait until a month of veg before taking clones. I like taking 2"-3" cuttings since I clone in rooters and my bubble cloner.

I got my lighthouse tent on ebay for $130 or so. It's heavy duty, doesn't let light out or in. Hell, when I burned sulphur and closed it all up, hardly any smell escaped. It has a metal frame.

I bought mine from gotham hydroponics on Ebay. I bought my 400 watt hps from them as well for like $130, free shipping, flash wing. Tent was also free shipping. For the summer time, I will get a suntube and build extention white flaps for it to have better refelcting. In fact, after the study I did on reflective surfaces, I am going to paint the under side of my flash wing white.

Anyway, saw you were looking for the tent, and the lighthouse from them is super heavy duty. Comes with a water proof, easy to remove floor. Makes cleaning much easier. The mylar is good for cleaness between grows to kill spidermites and PM, etc.

Actually, for summer time, I might get the titan air cooled hood.

The tent I was talking about has metal frame also. Idk about the removable floor part though ill ask before i purchase it. Ill have a shelf in there any way so that I can have a catch pale under it. The tent idea is not just yet solid for me yet. Im looking for a bigger house so that i can just use a whole room or attic. Out of sight is my idea of what I want to do with my grows.










In further news the AMS is starting to poke there heads out. Next It looks like the Northern Lights x Big Bud. :)
