Growing In The Pond & Keeping My Head Above Water

re: Growing In The Pond & Keeping My Head Above Water

I have a question for the Pond.

I noticed a Thrips problem (I believe) today on my outdoor plants and decided to try the Garlic and Cayenne Pepper spray to get rid of them. I havent sprayed them yet because its dark now and I cant see anything out there.

My question is can I use the solution to water my plants rather than spraying them and if so would it be the same ratio as to spray or a weaker/stronger ratio

Thanks in advance and I only asked here because it seems everyone follows Papa Fish and I can get a quicker response than in my own journal.

I remember many times flying into the base in Guam, in the South Pacific, the sun would be out 90degrees with 100% humidity as we land, then as we start putting the plane to bed, downpours that a 10 head shower stall couldn't match, 10 minutes later we are walking the 1/4 mile to the hangar steaming as the sun comes back out and by the time we get to the hangar our flight suits are bone dry! Still sticky from humidity, but dry. Now that is some weird weather too!

We landed there once in a tropical storm. You look like your going the hit the side of a cliff. Yuk!

OK Thank you Miwa. I asked because the SNS 203 I was thinking of getting is a drench or spray so I wasnt sure if the Garlic/Pepper spray would work the same
..yep...Good Sativaday CcD...a drench is for lavae or root eaters in the soil..you have to spray for bugs above ground..i'm really not in to sprays..i rather use natural preditors...i just placed some Lacewing eggs on my plants...too many sprays of the same type make super bugs..:goodluck:

Im not into spraying my plants either especially now that they are budding. I got a lengthy message last night from JTG assuring me that Mother Nature would handle business for me. I have noticed multiple Spiders on my plants, once a close up face to face meeting as I leaned in for a sniff recently. I also have many Bees and Wasps in the garden area and some stealthy little bugger that I havent been able to get a look at yet but have seen hop from one plant, as I moved branches around to inspect, to another. He even bounced off me once.

James is an Outdoor Master and I trust in his advice so at this point I will just let it roll and hope for the best. My plants look great and are budding nicely now so I know there isnt a bad infestation. Only thing I can see is that they want some food which is bubblin away as I type. I invite anyone whos interested to come have a look and give your opinion.

Thanks again James and thank you again Miwa for your answers
