If you wanna get the gnats......wait til the last minute to water/feed....then, when the pots get real dry, I like to pre water, give em a little water, wait 15 minutes...then do the application. I think it helps em get the dose better.

Cut the amount of water you give em, I look at it like this;...I'm not growin weed...I'm growin soil....if my soil is good....my plant will be good..........keep the horse in front of the cart! The water/nutrient application is what I'm speaking of.

im telling you guys, that hydrogen peroxide, dishwashing detergent & h2o in a spray bottle every 2 days for a week. Spray the plant & the top soil. Gnats gone. Now i do that once a week for preventive maintenance & have not seen a gnat.

It sure is amazing how tiny a newborn baby is. but you all know just from growing grass:)
rolled a 4 1/4"long doob of the scavenged NLxBB. Figured I would burn some of that and go transplant the moby dick that I have been neglecting for a few days.
Smoked about a inch of it. (bad Idea) so I'm going to go play poker now instead of loving my plants:(

So this is for OMM:circle-of-love:
A while back I was telling a story of my life with a college chick I met when I was 14.
you all will have to go back in my Got My feet wet journal to understand. but really this is after.
I was 14 and had not smoked yet but I had done other things we can't mention here.
I was working for the local paper collecting and delivering delinquent routes. Most was from the University that was near by (dead beat college students) some were very lucrative back then. Talking $200 a piece in my pocket. This is in 1974 75 so that was a good buck:) and I could do that in less then a week.
Anyway I had my own route around a summer community that lived on a lake behind my house.
I was delivering papers there and there was three kids my age standing behind the bushes. they were laughing and having a good time.
one of them saw me and called me over. I went to see what was up and the one cat named Robin handed me a joint.
Now I knew about other things but never toked yet. so I did......
