I would also like to take just a moment to acknowledge one other person this grow.....
FRANCO LOJA of strain hunters and master breeder for green house seeds passed after a short battle with malaria just over a year ago at the young age of 42.
Italian born Loja was considered a criminal in Italy until he moved to the Netherlands to join Arjan Roskam at Greenhouse seeds. He soon grew famous after he and his partner won tons of cannabis cups.
In their strain hunter series they would venture into remote locations of the world searching for true undisturbed land race strains. Many of which were found in the Congo due to the isolation of tribes and the constant political unrest of the DRC.
Loja was very passionate about the people of Africa and using cannabis to repel and prevent the spread of malaria, an epidemic that targets primarily the poor. He was also working with local governments towards decriminalization as well as educating the public on cannabis' medicinal benifits. Sadly, on his last trip he actually contracted malaria and it took his life.
Just wanted to take a second to recognize this cultural icon. Cannabis constituents are needed now more than ever... So thank you sincerely for all the work and research you asccompished to help save and sculpt better lives ..
Rest easy Franco.
