Growing A Legend: An Auto Tribute To Jack Herer

Holy crap man, and that was a nice place. I realize this doesn't help with the aftermath, but my best wishes are with you through all this. Do your in-laws have a place to stay and stuff? How are they set up?

Yeah.... With me! (For now) :oops:

I think my Amnesia Haze auto (outdoor project) will just stay hidden away in the barn for now. I can always move it out later after I get my privacy back. LoL

But... I work with a ton of builders down here who own multiple rentals. Hopefully we can get them into a new home within a week or two.

BTW.... Really sorry for hijacking the thread for a minute.

Fruit = Flies
When I read the first four ingredients I was thinking to myself, that sounds good, I may try one of those for myself and when I read sawdust, i had to think, what the fuck!

And speaking of insect pests, I went to my fly-tying kit the other day to get some materials for Guy's brother - he's a flytier too - some polar bear hair actually, and when I opened up the case, all the furs and feathers were decimated by moths. I think I should perhaps maybe consider the potential possibility of planning on investing in some mothballs perhaps.

Hijack away; we all want to know, I'm sure, how you fare through this. Keep us informed by all means. If you need to blow off steam, there's always somebody around, it seems.

My Amnesia Haze auto at week 10... With clear tricomes... A few milky... Sprouting new pistils. Haha! She's testing my patience. :yummy:

I'm about 99% certain these girls were slowed drastically due to a bit of cold weather. But still... Hurry up beeotch!

hey everyone, if you missed my first mention of it, here's a link to the weekend me and Guy had around the Bay of Fundy https://www.420magazine.com/communi...-time-in-april-in-the-maritimes.445675/page-4

I didn't get as many pictures as I had hoped for; I kept forgetting my camera for some reason. And the day I remembered my camera and laptop, I forgot my rolling stuff. But Guy hasn't posted his pics and gotten his .02 worth in yet either. I just got a text from him; I guess he had a long drive, a lot of it in freezing rain on top of snow, and he had a short sleep, and if the weekend left him the way it did me he's probably going around with a dazed smile on his face and a lot less stress that may have been built up (and extreme difficulty typing). Although he wasn't keeping up with me and Other Guy... rookie.

Thanks for coming down to the coast, man; I had a great time and I'm pretty sure you did too.

Looks good man. When I try to take pics under my LEDs it ends up looking like a bad acid trip.

There's only fruit in the VC bin, flies in both.
Man, anything that may have been upstairs in my thinker has been smoked out by now. On the first night I seem to remember something crawling out my left ear. So I rolled over and they made a commotion and went out the right.

Fruit=Flies=Flies
:)

Except that it went the other way around. They were first observed, and in greater numbers, in the soil-mix bin (after I amended with neem cake and oyster shell flour), and seemed to have then moved over to the vermicompost bin. So I think there's something in the base mix, or in the amendments, that attracted them. :/

But I'm not thinking so much on how they got there as much as how to get rid of them.

Sticky traps? That's what I figured would work best. I'm going to neem drench the bin without the worms in it, since I like to neem drench my soil to prevent fungus gnats. But I don't think the worms will like the neem.

Sorry I'm late gang! First off, jeez @Preston9mm what a shitty weekend :-0. I'm glad no one was hurt, that could have been truly tragic. I hope they get into a new place soon, for their sake and yours :Namaste:

On the worm bin subject, I got rid of most of the fruit flies by covering the food with a layer of soil and wetting it down. No exposed food, no fruit anymore either (though they do seem to like red peppers!). I did see a small white worm when I went digging around this weekend:

But the red ones seem happy enough. I'm only tossing in tea bags and dryer lint at the moment because I think I have plenty of food compared to the number of worms.

Glad to hear flytie and Guy² had a great time. Now back to reality! We've got Jacks to attend to.

Yeah I had the fruit covered as well, which just makes me think even more it's something in the soil itself.

That really sucks Preston! Glad no one was hurt.
