Grow tent recommendations?

Here is the 4x8 tent that I purchased. I'm going to set it up in my barn and start my seedlings and do my clones in it. Also I am going to use it to do my veggie seedlings. My barn stays about 43 degrees so I will put a heater in it to raise it about another 35 degrees or so.

I use 2x large waterproof heat mats on the floor and they add another 5-8F to my 4x4...plus the advantage of heating the roots which is as/more important than air temp. My tent is in a 45-50F space (depending on solar gain) and with the mats and lights I get the tent to 70-75F. :goodluck:

Nice tip on the heat mats.

I ran a flood table but one thing I did different I mounted my reservoir outside the tent and elevated the tent on a 4X8 sheet of plywood and some cinder blocks. it worked great.

do you offer a discount for site members?
Hi Pointer80, yes, use discount code: MarsHydro to get 3% off. Sorry cannot offer you better discount, since our margin is very limited now. :) But trust me, the tent will be worthy the price. :Namaste:

Check out Mars Hydro. :D A little more than the amazon brand but quality is very good. :D The video is from two years ago, and many factors are upgrated as well.

I am still impressed from when you went to the trouble of soliciting suggestions from us in regards to what could be done to improve your grow tents - and then implemented those suggestions. I once sent some suggestions to Ford Motor Company (stop building transmissions with leaky seals directly above the clutch, stop designing the lower body parts solely to collect/hold water/salt/everything else that causes rust, et cetera) but they went ahead with their strategy of selling overpriced shite, and so now they're down to... what? Two automobiles, some "sport" "utility" vehicles, and trucks? They should have listened to me:rofl:

Oh, wait, that's not why I decided to post. THIS is:

@SmokeSara If your company made (a better version of) this kind of tent, and it was exactly 36" x 48" in area, with the main chamber being (again, exactly) 36" x 36"... Well, I would have happily purchased one back when I had had the money to do so.

Separate spaces for flowering the crop, keeping small mothers, and seedlings/clones.

We used to made those before, but it will increase the cost which customers don't want, and we denied the design. Usually we change to another idea, we need to make some poles, and see how most growers want then decide. If many growers like it, we will make it. :Namaste:

I have my tent in the closet. I find it hard to move to clean behind it. It would be a nice option to have the bug netting affix to the inside of the tent with velcro. It would make cleaning much easier.
