I can attest to the dual 288 260 watt QB light.QB's are all I run Now, they are FANTASTIC
I DIYd mine, real easy, But maybe not for anyone
if you can get, say a Dual QB288 system, that would be perfect for a 3x3 Tent
After viewing what is involved in doing a quantum board I think they are the way to go. I do have a friend who is an electrician to check my work. Ledgardener has a video that rocks. I think I would get more bang for my buck. I will keep researching but I'm glad to have choices. Thanks!!i did my very first grow in a 4x4 tent (48x48x96) with 1 vipar 600 for the first month and added a 2nd vipar before switch to flower. The umol coverage is decent but if you really want to go for something easy and decent without DIY QB, i recommend the mars 2 1600. Great umol coverage, MORE than enough for 3x3 and u can ensure your plants would love it.
Below: Here's some quick charts i already have uploaded. I used 2 of these for my first 2 grows.
Below: And here is what i upgraded to and am now using for my current 3rd grow.
Hope it helps you decide what route to go. Lighting is definitely very important for your grow. Vipars make great starter lights.

The kit I was looking at has everything included except ratchet straps. As the video I saw, he explains about tinning the wire leads, and making sure wires are cut to proper length; but if I run into any problems I will be sending you a post. As soon as I get my set up I'll post it. I am having so much probs with my seedlings right now. Don't know if there going to make it. Can't even get them outside. Still getting frosts at night. You will love the QBs
Be sure and post what u get
If yer diying it be sure you get the right driver, I learned the hard way, so if yer not sure holler and I can help
It is real easy to build, a few solders, even building an aluminum frame is easy
I have 2 GROWant gr240, great lights and are sponsors. I did two under one start to finish but opted on another for the next grow. $115 each they are a great light. Two would be great in a 3x3 area for sure

I think the leads on the AC side of the Meanwell are braidedyou dont need to tin wire leads if you get solid AWG wire
you talking about Black diamond Perfect Sun?I've seen vipar do good but only with additional QB. so I dunno if it was actually the vipar or not. im not even gonna get started about the other blurple sponsor here... I wish HLG sponsored this site would save some people headache.

they come tinned already. just need to tin the cord to the wall.I think the leads on the AC side of the Meanwell are braided
lol no. not that. thats worse than the one I was mentioning. I was talking about the one with the reflector series that you will be dealing with customer service before the year is up.you talking about Black diamond Perfect Sun?
I have his perfect sun mini, Im currently using it for side lighting,lol.. another 125 watts dont hurt, thats for sure.
yeah, they are, but still, 8awg solid should be used, so better to use a wago junction.
