All legit questions.....do we go to the competition for help lol....?After all the crazy I've been experiencing with my first SCROG grow, I could use some fun, and this fits the bill! I've never heard of the "mini grow," so a few more questions:
Are we expected to post photos or updates weekly, journaling our care (how, what and why we use this or that?)
If we have any questions or concerns about the health of our "mini grow," do we bring it here, or make use of all the tools here on the website?
Are there any restrictions (e.g. 24hr lighting as opposed to 18/6, etc.).
Can I tie a string between the two cups, so they can communicate with each other, while I'm chanting over them and cheering them on to grow up big and strong?
i guess it rains there ha,love those eucaliptus they smell good i wonder if you lay branches of that around your plants could deter some critters for the outdoor grow or indoor? i no what you mean it sucks when the weather does this they dont like it either, my peppers dont like this weather they dont like 40s just like the weed when its in the 40s they dont grow!

Wish I could drill drainage holes for the grow
Are you in the states? I love going to different continents, the trees, grass.. everything, is like going to a new world.
I never thought of using the eucalyptus as a deterrent, thank you for the idea!! Those and the big Iron Barks around the property are by far my favourites.
good morning reefer, im in ca. one house i lived in some years back had row of 6 eucs along the driveway i loved those things didnt like cleaning up after them but thats trees, anyway i no what you mean we are taking a road trip for 3 weeks in sept. were going to see some of nevada, utah, wyoming, idaho, montana, north dakota, and colorado we will see all kinds of different country sides it should fun,you have s good one reefer!
Imagine our surprise in the difference in landscape. We left the Toronto ontario-- area down to Buffalo where we rented our car because of unlimited kilometer. We left there drove into the Dakota's , then down south through Yellowstone all the way down to Las Vegas. We then traveled from Las Vegas down into Mojave California and eventually over into San Francisco. We then traveled up the west coast of the United States into Seattle and then across the border into BC where we spent three or four days. We then drove from Vancouver area up through Hope and into the Rocky Mountains and across into Jasper and then South and to Calgary after we visited in Banff for a couple of days. We then drove back across the border after doing a little bit of rainbow fishing in the Bow River in Alberta. We drove straight through the Dakota's and then back across the top of the United States and eventually dropped off our minivan at Buffalo International Airport with just over 16,000 kilometers on it LMAO. All of this in two weeks, what a whirlwind tour and what an amazing experience. It gave me the opportunity to quickly see a bunch of places that I can't wait to go back to in the United States. You have such an amazing country......so vast, diverse and incredibly beautiful. Are you in the states? Just to see what can be accomplished in a solo cup with an auto and a dream. With so many participants we will learn a lot of from the friendly competition! So why a solo cup? why not do a 7 gallon medium
See who yields the most weight?
Im confused on solo cup idea.do explain this.
Gotta be honest here Grim, I'm a little upset you shared the secret ingredient... Thought I was the only one who knew the powers of goat urineThanks for joining up Spam, will be good to have you on board buddy, have seen your journals ..
Come game day, it would be good if everyone can be slightly formatted with their details, for the ease of our reading, and any future onlookers. Something like..
Germination plan : "Shot glass for 20hrs then paper towel for 20hrs"
Medium : "Dirt" (details please, as much as possible)
Seed/s : "White WidowA by Seedsman" - Please put strain & breeder / bank.
Nutes : "Canna A&B / CalMg / Goat urine
A few photos and a brief description of your container.. "Red Cup with 4 bottom holes and 8 side holes" pic pic pic .
From there on, ask as many questions as you want ! There seems to be a great variance in beginners to veterans here, we can boost our beginners with shared knowledge! Is also great for anyone searching for details on topics in future.
Post details journal style along the way; feeding schedule, nutrient strength, watering method, light consumption. Try to post an update at least once a week, but feel free to do it every day / when needed. Pics pics pics
Restrictions:
Autoflower only
18oz max
No string between cups .
Cheers for asking and welcome once again! Not long now!

Looks like we have a few travellers in the group! That's awesome to hear.
North Americas gotta be one of my favourite places to be! Recently returned from a 2 year working holiday there.
Fly into Edmonton for a few days, then caught he Greyhound to Jasper, where I worked for about 12 months. Then, road trip off to Whistler, loved it, stayed for 8 months. (All the time road tripping to snow hills in the area, Banff, Furnie, Kicking Horse, Golden). Caught a train to Seattle for the fun of it outta Vancouver, then made plans with a friend from Amsterdam to go work at the Cali Farms trimming and tending to cannabis .
Unfortunately, Casper, my Amsterdam mate, got deported at the US border, his papers weren't in order and he had to return home.
Australia will always be home, think Italy is next on the list for a year or two though..
