Ok, we have action in the peat pellet today and the WW has broken ground. I will mark today as day 1 even though it was later this afternoon she started to push the dirt away. So off I went to get my cup filled up with promix and perlite, also to get a mild mix of Rapid Start and Armour Si to dampen up the medium with. Lets have a look at what I did.
**side note.. I notice a lot of people saying and using 16oz, the original post was for 18oz so that's what I used as you will see below**
Here is the WW Auto from DinaFem making an appearance..
Here you can see that I measured out 16oz of promix hp with some added perlite.. I set my finger there so you could see the numbers, it was hard to see otherwise..
I added a very thin layer of nice chunky perlite at the very bottom of the container, just enough to cover the surface, this is my other 2 oz of material including the peat pellet. I did the math on the peat pellet and it worked out to just under 0.3oz per pellet, I was curious lol
After adding water to the cup I allowed it to drain and soak for a few. Then I went to the grow room, removed a little dirt from the center and set it aside for after the seedling pops up some more, I will throw it back in over the peat pellet maybe.
So here we have the little baby in the dirt now, got the humidity dome on, and have it perched up between the 4 T5 lights.
That's about all we have for today peeps! I'd imagine come tomorrow we will see a lot more introductory posts for new babies
