It was one of the main ones I was photographing... I'm about to cut it up, this is the last to trim...

Blacksmith, I hear you man, only thing is I've already got, with the immature, over 300g of loose or small buds, shopping bag full.. Not trim, all that went into compost or plant plot.. Just buds that are too small to really trim up or loose fluffy shite...

I hear what you're saying Grizz, but if you did make oil out all the stuff that you don't want to smoke it would take up a lot less room and oil has a lot going for it usefulness wise, anyway, just a thought.

Blacksmith, I've really got to learn how to make some.. don't know what alcohol to use here, we don't have ever clear or whatever it is they say to use.. P/m me or put it up here if you know best way to make it, products to use, what I need, in Aussie lingo,I'm not sure what they using with a lot of it.. I like the health benefits that seem to come with it...

Thanks stage... 1240 wicked haul man. 1060 in photo,180 gone.... 308 in bag and jar, small loose immature... I'd get 3 pound out of it, if it was all to be sold... Im so stoked... Potm, ahh that's gone. Been 7 or 8 votes last couple days, dudes got all of them. Was looking between me and snid but he's come from nowhere, lol. All good, wish I knew she was entering though,would have spent some time on her, tarted her up for it. Instead of sending her in with hairy armpits and legs, lol... Thanks for stopping by...
 
Couple questions... I'm only new with these breeders beans, having always grown bag seed.. So I grow my plants and finish when they look finished, never had an amount of time to go by.. This black dream I'm growing is a 7 week flowering time.. I think I'm at 60, around that area and I'm still seeing some clear, only one or two ambers and only on some leaves. Are some finished before they look it? It 50/50 breeding but looks more 80% indica, which should mean the closer to 47 days shouldn't it? She has been flushed and feed water last week or more....I'm going to run her to finish by my eye, but just curious, why give a time or is the time meant as a minimum?

Grizz, in Australia it is very difficult or expensive to get ethyl (drinking alcohol ) at 95% abv, which is what your supposed to use for oil you put in your body, for stuff that is going to be used externally, you can use isopropyl alcohol (about $30 for 5 ltrs) although I know guys that use the ISO for ingestable stuff. Myself, I have decided to build a still and make my own, total control, cheaper, and it keeps my little brain busy. If you want to share what little info I've collected buddy, just ask, I'm always happy to share.
 
Ok, now there's a dude around here, apparently he is making the oil for his daughter but it takes month or so to make.. I'd never heard of this, think it could be true? Reason I ask, dudes asked me for any trim to donate, cause these people have been going to nimbin to get oil, cost heaps, they run out etc.. dude that asked would buy and smoke leaf.. I'd donate a heap If I knew it was going to this girl. I don't know who she is or if she exists. You heard a process that takes this amount of time? I'm just skeptical, media push and dudes exaggerate/lie or jump in without knowing what they doing etc...
 
First off... I'll point out that a good dose of skepticism has been my constant friend and savior for many years now.
Second... and not that I'm personally concerned, but I'd sure hate to see you or anyone else get booted for such banter. I don't know for sure but I'm betting it violates some rules around here.

I farm mine out to whatever buddy wants it. Never heard of a one month oil creation cycle... but wouldn't be terribly surprised.

I'm not aware of a process that takes that long, but that doesn't mean there isn't one. I use the Motocco 420 method, it's straight forward and seems to be universally accepted as a solid process. I do wonder, with all the info out there on stains and effects, it does seem iffy that someone would spend a whole month working with a strain they knew nothing about, to make oil for a sick child, as a parent myself, even if I was desperate, I wouldn't be that random, but, that's me. I'll report my comment, mods will sort it out...I'm not deleting it if it's not against rules, but I wouldn't have written it if i knew it was... I'm talking about donating..an 80 year old women is still somebody daughter, if that's the problem..

That was my problem also, strain difference and all... That's why the month thing I was curious on, if there was a blending/ageing or whatever process..
 
Ignore the flowering times breeders give out. It is just a very rough estimate, often based on a faster flowering pheno and only under certain conditions. Also, they measure flowering time from when the plant actually starts blooming and not from flip to 12/12.

EDIT: They could also just be straight up lying. LOL!
 
Thanks Blaze.. My timing has been flowering, which I counted as happening 7 days after flip.. wonder how much difference in time environment makes..
