GrizzWalds - Aussie Indoor/Outdoor - Choose Your Own Adventure

I'm sure that this has been asked already and I missed it, but what variety is that outdoor sativa? Or do those things just sprout up wild everywhere where you live...

Last year was a HSO sour blueberry, this is the seed of chucky. Got about 7 seeds off the plant last year. Pollinated by what? Don't know if it was from a male/hermi around these parts or self pollinated....

You'd know more about that than I would.. I grew bagseeds for years man, only found out about genetics the last few years looking into it.. There's no 11 finger leaves on her if that means anything... I don't know the % of hybrid...now, I got some old genetic local seeds last week off a builder, I said they they would probably be some old sativa's....

From the info i found, if its a HSO Sour Blueberry its a mostly sativa strain ;)

Sour Blueberry Feminised Seeds by the cannabis breeder Humboldt Seeds, is a Photoperiod Feminised marijuana strain.
This Mostly Sativa strain produces a High High yield. These seeds germinate in 8 weeks in Outdoors - 1st October. It has a Medium (10-15%) THC Content. The CBD content of the strain is Unknown. The user can benefit from a Physical and relaxing, the effect is most appropriate for seizures and nerve system related problems..

Blueberry is a super popular plant with purple colours and fruity taste, and Humboldt Seeds have crossed it with a Sour taste indica that also made the cross more productive than the pure line itself. Sour Fruit taste and frosty hard nuggets is the best way to describe it, Physical and relaxing, the effect is most appropriate for seizures and nerve system related problems. The cold nights are the key to getting the blue colour everyone likes from this one.

It looks pretty sativa-ish. I didn't realize Blueberry leans so sativa. I grow it- always seems like indica. Whatever...
Thanks. That's going to be a great harvest!

Thanks Dennise, we're still talking about Audrey Hepburn I presume, lol....

Ok.. I've said it before but for those that haven't read or know... I got 2 seeds off a friend, a trainwreck and a sour blueberry.. I grew the plant last year thinking it was the trainwreck.. Once the temps dropped, she went this beautiful blue/purple, before yellowing off.. The buds had some nice colours in them. Not having grown either strain, i didnt/don't know the characteristics of either strain, so assumed I'd stuffed the seeds up and it must have been the sour blueberry.. I said this and called it the sour, and nobody argued or said it could be the trainwreck still.. Now, I'm surprised they call it a medium strength strain, as some of her buds kicked my ass.. It seemed to have different variations of buds within the plant but not necessarily the colas ass sitters and lower lighter.. I'd smoke a fat cola and go to work and a little fluff ball would sit me down and vice versa. Seemed to be no real rhyme and reason... I still think she's the sour but if anybody wants to give reason for me to think otherwise I'm more than happy.. Page 35 is where you can see her.....

Depending on what Trainwreck you got, there is also a Purple Trainwreck which is a cross between Mendo Purps x Trainwreck which has a higher THC content of 15-20%. Though i have had quite a few normal green strains turn purple in our colder period right at the end of flower so its hard to say, even had low THC strains turn out stronger than the claimed "high THC" varieties.
Main thing is it gets you stoned and does what its supposed to :thumb:

Be nice to be able to test some buds, wouldn't it, just to know what's going on... When they bringing out the home test kits? I'm sticking with sour, that's even how I would have described the taste of the buds. And the plant fits that description, they basically saying the bud formation is more indica like on a sativa leaning plant, well that's how I read it..

I hear ya there mate, would be nice to have a testing facility on hand, even the home test kits they sell in the US have to be sent back off for lab tests from what i read, they send the solution and vial, you mix it and send it back to them then they give results. Hopefully in the near future someone will come up with a better solution for home testing.

Hey Grizz, I have to agree with Denise, awesome job man. You gotta love this crazy weather, it seems to be good for growth, I hope it lasts, but I wouldn't bet my balls on it. I also agree with your anxietys regarding getting ripped, mine a quite high at the moment too, I have everything crossed, just hoping to get this years effort across the line, it's shaping up to be my best so far.

Great to hear man. You should journal it...you can put some pics here...Love to see them... .weathers been real good for growing. we been getting rain for last week and bit, no concern though... My concern now is I'm dealing with hurricane winds, been blowing hard almost 20 hours now. Buds are heavy and wind has twisted a few side branches around. Be able to stake them back up once it eases....nothing broken...yet...

Yep me too, high winds here as well, spent an easy hour and a half tying and staking this afternoon, only one small problem though, I can't step one foot into the garden without coming out stinking like a stoner, it's ok when I'm home but if I forget to wash and then go out in public it could be an issue, oh well, horrible problem to have I know. I don't think the wind will cause as much damage as I did last week, I fell over backwards when I was watering and snapped six branches off, probably cost myself 3oz's and sat in a big puddle, I'll just put it all in the oil making pile, no biggie I suppose.

I would like to do a journal, but I'm still really paranoid about putting too much information online. I realise this is probably a little silly but nonetheless, for now at least I'll just keep on enjoying and learning from everyone else. Always remember, paranoia is completely reasonable if everyone is watching you.

D'oh.... Your making me laugh, not at what happened. I'm just thinking how awesome it is to have so much, you can cost yourself 6 branches 3oz, as no biggie, lol.. It's an awesome time of year isn't it.....

Paranoia and growing should go together, unfortunately, that's the law... I'm just at a fuck it stage, I'm not doing nothing wrong. And under 10 in vic is nothing, $300 and a behaviour bond.. 1 plant, where I live, I don't know, only way a cop here would do anything is if he had to, somebody dobbing me in.. I know most of them, played sport with a couple... Saying that though, you know, I'm being positive, could all go the complete opposite way but the laws still the same, so no biggie, could still travel...

Well, I say no biggie, but that would be compared to my previous efforts, by comparison, my current effort is universes apart, I'm finally getting the soil where it should be and the weather has been great so things are doing well. As far as getting busted goes, if it happens, I'm going to blame the kids, they're only 10 and 7, but they're very clever, I'm sure the authorities will believe me, wont they?

That equals 17, sounds about right, lol... Or act dumb, "no way officer, you go and show me where they are,I wouldn't even have a clue what they look like.. I've got some weird Japanese maples from Bunnings that are growing strange but I wouldn't know about that wacky tobbaci officer" they'd at very least get a laugh and go easier, lol...

Soil and light, in my opinion are the two most important factors in growing outdoors....
