Lol Photos, I may still give one a go. Today just isn't that day, next grow will be different enough without throwing autos into the mix. I've acquired a dwc bucket, so I want to try it, first time out of coco/ perlite, and I'm going to try led lighting for the first time also.
Should be enough excitement for this bloke.

Tell me about it 777, this is the worst bean buying experience I've had to date. Took two weeks just for the order to be filled and sent, so I'm starting week 6... I think the longest it's ever taken before this was 16 days in my letterbox

dont get me wrong , growers are maximising thier potential but autos are genetically inferior to photoperiod plants in the thc department .

its a fact im not making it up or being a prick its not my opinion its a fact , i will not waste 1 sq ft of grow space on 1 , seems to me im not the only one .

also agsin not being a prick and this part is my opinion , entering a plant signals that that plant in the growers mind is as good or better than each entry to come before it.

so yeah not being an asshole but out of respect i wouldnt enter anything less than a totall kick ass plant into the comp.

seriously man people need some fn respect and these fuckwits that vote for thier mates shit plants when they know in thier heart its crap well good luck to them .

its devaluing the comp and making the website looke shite .

its having no respect for 420mag.

i have respect for 420mag and the comp so i will only ever enter a plant that is actually deserving of entry .

BOOM! Haha, I get what you're at Photos, that's how children play. It really does void the comp, the winner isn't necessarily the winner, so what's the point.
As far as autos go, I know the stats, but I've always felt the need to experience some things first hand. Both good and not so much. Even if I only have more love and respect for the real thing at the end of it

Just want to thank all you dudes.. thanks for helping me to stand up for it, for being disappointed also, made me feel normal about it, lol. And the laughs with it..I love our sense of humour, must annoy some :rofl: Thanks santb for that link, without it id just be sulking... Thanks Austin, champ... Special thanks to Heirloom and Nicholas Flamel, both offered their's up for me to have. I so didn't want to take it from either of you, gave me extra motivation.. Donate it to a vet or somebody that actually needs it, can't afford it.. Well hopefully the next time we are talking about it, it's the product I'm using made from it...
 
Photos, yes and no.. Should still be able to enjoy the comp if you don't think you have the plant that wins, if that's what you want to do.. That's not me but I wouldn't hold it against others.. I can't wait till I grow an indoor plant worthy enough of the competition but that may never happen with the way I grow indoors. But if I couldn't grow outdoors also, then I should be able to participate, you know.. Now if they won cause I'd subbed to every journal, well that diminishes it..
 
My first indoors was autos. I said never again. I almost stopped growing indoors...
 
Good to hear Grizz, nothing says thanks like express post cookies, lol. But for real, it's good to hear a successful battle. .

I know brother, I just like seeing the ol' auto rant from ya....I hear ya on the contests though, it's all about which one impresses me the most. Some of the entries I see I feel like giving them a pity vote.
