Yeah that should be mentioned.. Man prizes are awesome but when you expecting something, then to have to ask and be told no, rude... and I'm not making it out like all of a sudden that's all I wanted, if anybody read back, that's all I mentioned, all I was in it for, lol...

Why so polite about it. I would be fucked off good and proper, and make a lot of noise about it. To me it sounds like they are welching on the deal. Plain and simple. Straight up lying about the fact they don't ship to Aus just to save a few bucks. Wow! Not cool at all. What the fuck is the point of POTM then?

Thats pretty shit man, thats about the only prize id want from the whole contests, supposedly a sponsor of 420 mag yet they dont send the items to a 420 comp winner. so what did you get apart from the potm title under your name? did you at least get a pat on the back? :rofl: thats just absolute bullshit, seems like the way all intl companies deal with aussies, pretty sure i have seen UK members receive their MB after winning comps on here, whats the difference?
 
I'm getting more pissed as I sit here.. If I complain and it goes for more than one message, well you know how I get, you won't see me again... Cones are just boiling me up at the moment...
 
I don't want to flog a dead horse, but are you getting anything of similar value to replace the MB? I know you really want the MB, but surely it needs to be replaced by something of equal value.
 
Dead horse... I feel like a spoilt kid, firstly asking for it and now dummy spitting it's not coming. Get Nothing, except the other prizes from the other sponsors, which I've received, and greatful for.. But like I said weeks ago, they could have kept all those, I just wanted the butter machine, lol...
 
I'd be pissed. I also want one of those. Best part of 300 bucks.. They even have them in stock here. They have to. I touched one last weekend!!!! In the hydro shop, for fucks sake..
 
How much are they in USA, anyone? Just outta curiosity. I'm betting at least 25-30% less than we pay..
 
As far as I'm concerned, being grateful is not a prerequisite. It's a competition. You won. You get prizes. End of story. I don't know man... this has left a sour taste in my mouth. I can only imagine how you must feel. This place is supposed to be sacred. One of the few places where the bottom line is not the only thing that matters.

I mean, they can "donate" it to the comp but not make the effort of what?? Adding an extra couple stamps? What's the difference? We know they are in the country.. What a joke. Now I won't buy one on principal.
 
I won it doing something illegal here.. They got my details, I don't want to make to big of a deal of it, you know. Already feel paranoid. I can be fucked over more by them.. Sour fucking taste..

I'd at least maybe go to the Mods.. Not demanding, just a WTF kinda thing... They might go to bat for you.. Not good for us to be bad-mouthing sponsors... They're all cool, they'll get it..

They are $179 USD, I do believe, but it's easy to find coupon codes for $20-$30 off that. It was $160 including shipping costs when I had one in my shopping cart the other week. Just couldn't bring myself to hit checkout button at that time. With the posted conversion rate on Google, that would make it around $212 AUD.
 
I got a $249 retail on the AU website, so I guess that's not that bad.. Didn't ask at the hydro shop cos I couldn't afford it anyway! Was already spending a chunk o' coin.. Ps Grizz, got that Ethanol stuff... Haven't tried it, saving it.. Mite try a "fresh bud" wash from this harvest..
I also bought a deep dish electric frying pan for making butter.. $27 from KMart. Holds about 10 litres I think but wide.. Easy to control temps with each increment being 2 degrees starting at 90 I think.. Have to double check that but that's why I got it.. Set at just under boiling and let it go unsupervised...
