im going to say petroleum, not sure if that's correct, but cleaning that out of it, hard to totally lose that taste.. . It's all for me, might as well make it as clean as possible..
If it's not 99.8 ISO it will taste not as good but still be the same potency.
Photos:acetone is what everyone here uses and is a lot cheaper in bulk,I Havnt done the Evap on a mirror with it but if there is no trace once evaped it should do the trick nicely.
Big thing grizz:if you want golden shatter,freeze everything and don't soak longer than around 20 sec.If you go more you will also take waxes from your trim/bud and it won't look as clean.To me I've done short and long(60sec) washes and while the 20sec washes end up a bit more clear/golden the 60 sec washes while look a little darker still do the job just as well.Most people I no that make it round here soak in the freezer over night and get around double what I get but nowhere as clean or smooth to take.

Yeah black thumbs you can use acetone but takes longer to get out of your shatter . And is a lot harsher in my opinion and fucks your throat so on so on . ISO is a lot cleaner Evap better and is a lot friendlier on the body . Yes quick washers to save on getting wax and plant matter . But if you do a pollen run with dry ice and good mic Ron mesh have three grades say 100 150 200 you get different pollen grades and strength and flavour .dry ice is like -72 or 78 your freezer can't get that cold . Yea mate I've only ever used 99.8 ISO and strain through 500 mesh then freeze again before going through a coffee filter and is super clean.Probably over the top with a ISO run but since it's just for me,I'm pretty happy with the way it comes out.Ive seen ice runs with just cubes and herbs through a blender with a splash of water.Pretty much just smashes the trich'es away and you filter them away from everything else so it's a solvent less way of doing it like bubble hash which I've never tried
