Flowering cannabis releases ethylene gas during flowering closer to the finish it will produce enuff gas to stunt the overall growth of young flowers they will begin to ripen before they normally would flowered only by themselves.

Well this was most definatly the scariest thing I did so far. I'm starting to second guess my work and worry I may have went too far with defoliating.
I also installed the ScrOG net.
I notice the plants started showing their sex. All girls. I thought they didn't show their sex until flower?
I was thinking about giving them a week to recover and then switch to flower.
Any thoughts?

I pluck my plants almost bare at points its all about light penetration.
Plucking plants to me in small spaces with lots of light is different then outdoor growing in large spaces. Where fan leaves dont shade flowers as much.
Plus indoors we feed more and have reflectors which bring light in when we defoliate.
Snap those stems side ways and pluck those shaders off.
I pluck in flower right till there is only flowers on finishing plant.

Nope. you didnt take too much off. Now the lower branches will get some light. I don't have much soil experience but in hydro they would be bounce back In a couple of days. A week and you do should be ready to flip if that is what you want to do.
Keep In mind when you do flip they will experience rapid growth for about 3 weeks. That would be what we call the stretch. A plant can double of triple in size during that time.
Everything looks good to me. Good job.
She maxed out at 18 inches.
She is in her 28th night tonight so half way to home.

With that long in veg you should have a good root base for flowering. I don't use a net but in do train them to spread out. I usually end up with 3ft plants. They will get some size to them when they stretch.
