Green Knight - OG Kush LED DWC

It's been 8 days and she's gone from this:

Where I've topped her etc, she now grows straight up to the screen and then fans out. As she grows up through the screen I pull them back under and continue fanning her out. I'm hoping to get decent coverage with strong main branches so I'm removing anything that obviously won't have a chance as I go along this time to keep as much energy as possible focused on worthwhile growth.

The roots have really taken off and are starting to fill the res nicely:

I think maybe another week or two in veg and then I'll flip. The topping has added a good few weeks to veg, now just have to wait and see if it makes much difference overall.

Sorry everyone, been quite busy so long overdue an update.

I switched to 12/12 last Saturday, so it's day 7 now. These photos are from a few days ago (day 2 of 12/12):

I defoliated a bit and had a general clear out and training under the screen:

Here she is today. 7 days in and I was doing the weekly res change so I've switched the nutes to Flores as she should hopefully be flowering any time soon:

The training seems to have worked well, I've got a really nice filling of the screen. We'll start seeing how it works it out as she stretches once flowering kicks in.

Thanks AJ; yes I've been clearing underneath regularly as the weak stuff below the screen hasn't really got a chance of doing anything much worthwhile once flowering takes hold and the main branches stretch so I now clear it regularly to focus the energy on the growth that will turn into something.

She's now flowering - first pistils were visible yesterday so we're day 2 of flower today. I'll put a photo update up in a couple of days
 
if your usling glr in veg flowers start real quick 4-10 days usually, you use glr right?

have a dinafem og kush mom myself been taking clones off her for awhile now :thumb:
great strain haven't tried any og kush from other seedbanks but the dinafem one is top notch

No, I've not done GLR yet actually. She flowered in around 9-10 days I think: I use 18/6 then give 24h dark before switching to 12/12. I keep meaning to try GLR and then forget!

Great to have you aboard. I'm really looking forward to the og, it sounds lovely and lots of nice grows with it on here so thought I'd give it a go!
