The Specs:

Room--->4'X13' and sealed as much as possible.
It also has a CO2 monitor with supplemental CO2 set at 1000 ppm. Anything more is just overkill in my no nothing opinion.

Lights---> All LED and all trying to be better then the next.

Medium---> This will be all DWC hydro 27 gal tote with the plants being supported by clay and lava rock.

Ph---> 5.5-->6.4 I let it swing baby!!!

Temps and humidity can vary depending on what configuration I run the lights.

Nutrients----> Non sponsored high grade (cheap) hydro type. All batches will be mixed in a 50 gal barrel and dispensed in a equal manner. I won't mix separate just to make sure they are being fed the same thing with no variance.

Now that all that ever so exciting stuff is out of the way, a little about me and my methods. The first thing is the love I have for these plants, its of the tough love variety. I don't baby them and I am as far from sterile as a person can get. I want strong plants that have a strong desire to live and thrive. I don't care for finicky strains that want to give up and die at the first signs of trouble. They have to be strong enough to survive any type of manipulation that I can throw at them.(Sorry I am a Manipulator)They will be bent, twisted, topped, fimmed and shaped to my desired wants and needs. There really isn't anything I wont do when it comes to these ladies.

So all these ladies are first started off under regular old T-8 4' shop lights. The bulbs are of the 6500k spectrum and they come off the shelf of a local farm store. Sorry its not more complicated then that but I like the ease and simplicity of it. I can get into that more later.

The veg time all depends on the plant and the desired size. I work with seed as well as clone. The plants going head to head will be the same plants grown from clone and grown to as close as the same size as possible. I have gotten pretty good at making them the same size with a little manipulation.

This first run will be a non competition run. I have three different strains and wanted to get the bugs worked out of this new room before I start putting them head to head.

The first three strains are as follows
Blue Dream----> Humbolt Seeds----> Has gotten way to big due to the extended time in veg---just rolling with it.
Sour Diesel----> Cali Connection----> Has been bent and distorted in the name of having fun.
Cheese------> Big Buddah seeds---> late to the show but has a amazing ability to explode in growth during the first couple weeks after the flip.

Now for the disclaimer. I take absolutely no credit for my knowledge and things I have learned along the way. I like to read and research and have taken bits and pieces from just about everywhere you can think of. I didn't have any friends with tons of experience to help me get started. All this was learned through good ole fashioned reading. I do have a close friend that I started all this with. He is like a brother to me, so from this point on that's how I will refer to him.

Also this is not exact science. I will report my findings, as well as my likes and dislikes along the way. Final judgment of course is based off of quality and quantity. Any success as well as failures will be reported as well. My ONLY interest is the results of the lights. I don't care if a person sent me a truck load of lights and wanted a good review in exchange. My loyalty is to all those that grow, not to the person that makes the lights.

Sorry for the long read, I just had to get it all out there. I know I have missed plenty but we can cover it along the way. So pull up a chair, bean bag, bar stool or whatever else you want to sit on. This will be fun and maybe we can learn a thing or two. :Namaste:

Some pics of the blue dream that got way to big. One of her caged and one of her before the cage.
These were all flipped 12/12 as of 4-25-14

There is nothing like good old vegged stumps lol. Over vegged plants are the best for seeing the strains full details.
