Grandpa Tokin’s Perpetual

I told my wife I’m going to be the most insane shredded 70 year old in the world...she chuckled and said, “you’re cute.”

Serious deflation of the mood... :cheesygrinsmiley:
I just told my wife that and she’s still laughing , I have to watch what I say to her . After 43 years I should have read her mood before I asked!

202.6 lbs this morning after my workout and before food. It’s annoying to not be under 200 yet, but it is what it is. I’ve been fluctuating between 202 - 205 lbs for weeks now. I’m already in a choleric deficit daily, so I just need to stay strong and it will happen...this particular plateau has been very psychologically difficult for some reason. I suspect it’s my sleep patterns or not sleeping...I’ve battled some very old demons lately too (PTSD?), and I’m not sure what that’s all about, but vivid dreams and anxiety have crept into my mind since my cousin passed.

WTF? I need to smoke more weed!

You know I’m not claiming to have the answer. But I have figured out for me, that when I consume by eating my stash, it can build up in my system and have similar effects. I’ll take a break from eating it and just vape my rosin as needed. But maybe that’s just me?

Drop the carbs and you’ll drop the weight. You’ve done really well. :thumb:

Congratulations!

I guess crying like a little girl works! FUQ YES! What a pleasant surprise on a beautiful Sunday morning. First time under 200 lbs. in over 15 years. :woohoo:

I went through this back in 2005. I dropped over 80lbs, and bicycled a century to celebrate the 4th anniversary of my heart attack.

There are two components to a body's nutritional needs, basal and exercise. Basal needs depends on body weight, sex, and age. As body weight decreases, basal needs go down. As we age, basal needs go down. Most folks change their diet and exercise routines at the start, and that's it. They reach a 'plateau' when their basal and exercise needs match their diet. Another change in either diet or exercise is needed to continue the weight loss.

Grats GT! You're an inspiration for me to get off my butt. :adore:
