Sorry to hear that! Hard to come across decent people these days. Guess that part of the reason I fly solo, fucking hanging sheetrock right now by myself.
Had a "friend" that I set up a garden n give him the golden ticket with grow method, nutes, clones, hell I even give him the hood n ballast n dirt n pots. I breed my own genetics n take alot of pride in them, have 10 years into some of them. Come to find out my "friend" was running around telling everyone that he bred them! I don't get people!

I lost all of the grow gear I purchased in college (except for my tent, cause it folded into a suitcase) and a whole wack of seeds to a similar “friend”...only stipulation was I’d get my gear back either when I could get up and running again or he could purchase his own... he sold it all and moved out west... people are mind boggling!

That’s almost exactly the same scenario. I gave this guy everything you could want. I set him up with a complete dwc system to include lights. I even gave him his first nute lineup and my personal feeding schedule. In fact, the only thing I didn’t supply was the water. What a douchebag. He has two GG4 plants that are probably dying. When I gave them to him they were the best looking plants I’d vegged to date. I was very proud of them. I’m still pissed!
I don’t get it either. I’ve known this guy since we were 18. We’ve always been cool with each other. Or, at least that’s what I thought. Maybe, in reality, I was more of a friend than he. It’s sad, but I won’t lose any sleep over it.

I get the getting pissed. Rightly so brother....but think about the big picture man. Don't give that person any power to control your feelings. People like that aren't even worth staying mad at past the initial realization of just how big of a pecker head he is. Life is too short Gramps, and you know this all too well. Cut the negative lines man, much easier than carrying that resentment.
I used to get mad at shit like that. People you thought you could trust would screw you over and it would hurt. Then I realized I was the only one allowing it to happen. They proved what kind of person they were....and its not the kind of people I wanted in my life....easy enough, cut the line. That doesn't necessarily mean being a dick....just remembering you are the one in control of who is in your circle and who isn't, not the other way around. They get the hint over time....or in rare occasions they will realize what pecker heads they were and make amends. Like that saying goes, you can make some people happy all the time and all the people happy some of time, BUT you ain't ever gonna make them all happy all the time. Do what's right and let the rest sort itself out.
Remember life is short....only so many minutes in each day and that number is counting down every day. Make the most of those minutes and never let someone take them away from you.

Hey no problem bud. That’s what this whole thing is all about. Heck I learned more from your journal in just a few minutes than in here for sure. This journal is sentimental to me because during its creation I had a heart attack and open heart surgery—less than a year ago—and still managed to grow some decent weed. Anyway, thanks for being here and drop by anytime and feel free to jump in. I appreciate any and all...

Quick update: I was gone for the weekend. Flew to California for a visit with relatives. Nice to visit with family, but air travel is not on my list of fun things to do. In fact I’d rather visit the dentist...
Anyway, all is good. The Auto is looking a little ragged, but starting her own fade which I like. I’ll probably change the bucket for a full flush tomorrow and run that for a week or so; maybe even two depending on how she looks.
The Tangie seedling finally popped a root out of the netpot and is looking very healthy:
The GG4 Mom is out of control...again! I’ll need to fix her this week and take some clones:
Finally, the cloner is looking good with all clones rooted and very healthy. 100% on this go, which makes me smile. I’ll keep the best and kill the rest...it’s what I do! Enjoy:
