Grandpa Tokin’s Perpetual

I got more...

That’s what I’m thinking. I wouldn’t mind a few beans of her.
I know it's near the end but gramps your plants look amazing didn't get a cutting of gg but I was lucky enough to score some bag seed of some stuff that was a potent gorilla but my plant looks nothing like yours (possible cross pollination? Meaning even more hybrid strain?) Since I have ran a few seeds 100% has been female making me think the genetics from gorilla glue being such a strong female you automatically get feminized seeds with anything crossed with glue? Just a thought sorry to intrude on your post happy growing stay medicated my friends

I’ve kept it alive for almost 4 years so far. We’ll see how it goes, but I don’t plan on killing her anytime soon. Here’s what the GG Mom looks like this morning:

The GSC and Bubblelicious got new hairdos:

Some of the branches are starting to be weighed down by chunky little buds. Very sticky and I’m starting to detect her distinctive stank...outside the room. Stinky in that good way...Enjoy!

The Mystery Auto is chugging along. No issues as far as I can see:

I’ve also dropped the EC to 1.2 for another week and then I’ll flush a little. I’m looking forward to this harvest now. It’s going to keep me in meds for quite some time. Well beyond another harvest. That makes me happy. :thumb:

Awesome work, feels good to know your head stash is plenty for the next few months!

It certainly is reassuring. Now I know I’ll be good with what I have until this harvest is cured. Then I’ll be way ahead. I’m looking forward to spring so I can start my outdoor garden. I want to do it right this year, but that’s going to require a pick and a shovel and some backbreaking work first. I just need some warm weather...I don’t know why I didn’t retire in Florida...

If I get down south in time I’ve thought about 1 more outdoor grow but I’m not looking forward to the work involved. We ain’t spring chickens anymore! Lol

Oh, heavens no! I’ll definitely keep this stuff around. I’m just looking for some strange. Something I can hit all day and not feel too lethargic. This stuff locks me...not necessarily sleeping, but couch-lock for sure. I’m not just looking for one strain either. I’ll hit just about any strain to see the effects...or lack of effects. Heck, this harvest alone will keep me in weed for a long time. Long enough to get another harvest or two completed at least. Don’t get me wrong, I love this GG, I just need something to complement her. She’s great for watching a movie...or the news.
Sounds like you might enjoy some of that African Meltdown Gramps. LONG LASTING....energetic and euphoric. If you want a cut.....let me know. I will bring it with me in July when I come out to visit and get a cut of that GG!!

I have some csilver I may hit it one of these days.
have you ever tried revegging one of your plants, just in case? I am practicing on that Hawaiian girl for the time I find something I really like that I didn't take a cut or in case of an emergency where a cut dies and my only shot is resurrecting a flowering girl.

Its funny cause right after I decided to try it, Doc Bud ran into issues with his Lemon Paki plant and he was forced to try and save the cut by revegging it having never tried before. Made me feel real good about preparing for just such an emergency.

I think all I am going to do is try and reveg it until there is a shoot I can cut and start as a new clone. Figure its a good thing to have experience doing just in case!

I did that exact thing with my gorilla bomb. The original cuts didn't take so I left a little bit on the main stalk at harvest and cut a handful of clones when she got big enough. They've been in the cloner a week or two now and have some roots showing.

It felt like the reveg took FOORREEVVERRR

Oh hell yeah! Anything and everything in your garden would be great!

There is a trick to revegging that speeds the reveg up. You have to have vegging roots in order to have vegging growth. So the last 10 days to two weeks of flower, you start running her under 18-6 again. You want to signal to the roots that there is change and you do that with light change. As soon as you start to see any sort of funky growth, harvest your girl but make sure to leave 5-7 small nuggets down low with some fan leaves around it. If you are feeding bottled nutes, start introducing veg nutes back into your girl as soon as you harvest. She will reveg much faster this way supposedly.

I can tell you that doing those things for me (minus the feeding part as I am in LOS) made her start throwing new growth very quickly. She's still a mess, but moving much faster than if I wouldn't have done the light switch early on a week or so before harvesting.

Just remember, it all boils down to roots.......even in revegging. You need new root growth to reveg a plant. Get the root growing before you see the shoots growing and you will be golden!
