Grandpa Tokin’s Perpetual

This grow is getting good. Frosty as all get out and young. Refresh my memory gramps. Were these clones taken off the plant the deer chomped on?

Yes. I’ve managed to keep this going for several years now. It’s an actual cut from the original GG4. I got lucky when I first started growing and was gifted several clones from some awesome strains. I unintentionally killed all but this one...it’s a long story. Evidently dwc plants don’t like bleach.

LOL I am not even going to ask how the bleach came into the equation. I was wondering about the mother status because that plant is just amazing. Grow after grow it just consistently puts out. Kinda like that popular girl back in school.

Quick healthy update:

8 months ago today I had a heart attack and quadruple bypass surgery. 6 months ago I started working out (slowly) at cardiac rehab. After graduating from cardiac rehabilitation I decided that physical training was a must (again) in my life. For most of my adult life I was a very active person in better than decent physical condition. Being in the military, and a helicopter pilot, it was my job to be fit. It was something I took for granted and was second nature.

About 10 years ago I was involved in a serious accident that caused severe back injuries (5 crushed vertebrates), and some PTSD issues. It was devastating. I went from Superman to a bag-o-bones in a matter of weeks. For 10 years I did nothing as far as physical conditioning was concerned. I got fat, lazy, and afraid to workout. I ate crap...looked like crap...felt like crap...and BOOM!...had a heart attack!

Well, things have changed for the better. In the last 6 months I’ve missed 2 workouts. I’ve shed some serious fat and put on some muscle. I’m at the point where I love pushing myself again. I still have a long way to go, but I can see and feel the benefits of my hard work. I really am a new person.

I’m still doing resistance training 3 times per week and cardio 3 times per week along with proper nutrition. I also walk a minimum of 8000 steps per day—on top of the workouts. Sunday is free day or cheat day or rest day or whatever you want to call it. I don’t do any workouts but I still get the 8000 steps. It sounds easy because it is quite a simple plan.

Today is cardio. Better get after it!

Have you noticed any difference's with the lights?
Yes, what JM said.

Yes. I will be purchasing another Qboard for sure. They are lightweight, compact and throw some serious light. The plants are loving it. I’m getting some bleaching on the main tops. I think I had them too close at first. Whatever, the plants seem to really like it. One more Qboard will fill my entire room.
