Grandpa Likes To Squeeze Stuff: Solventless Extracts, Rosin, Pressed Here!

All terrain wheel chairs sound overkill.
I’m not sure just trying to get out as much goo as I can.
I get a good amount at 12.
I was doing like 4 1/2 minutes before and then repress them after stacking them.
So I recently in the passed week switched to 12 minutes.
Just thinking it beats pressing it twice for the same amount of time lol.

so here’s a 1.5g puck at 180 for 12 and a half minutes.
All scrapped up

So not to bad at all

Yeah, I should have had my legs man squeeze more last night for this morning haha.that bit of rosin was gone like after an hour and a half.
Woke up feeling really burnt out this morning. So it was extra slow getting up;) :smokin:

In my studies to research the best rosin joint I have ventured into rolling a small roll of rosin to be placed as the core of the joint. The idea seemed good but not so much..

Here is my failed attempt at what I call a pineapple core. Pineapple express rosin and flower. The rosin was rolled into a tube or core and rolled into the joint.

Findings: did not burn like the joints where I spread the rosin on the paper. Ended up breaking it down and smoking the gooey mess in a bong.

Makes sense as you need airflow through the center but some of us learn slower than others. Higher education :lot-o-toke:

What time is it, boys and girls? It’s crushing time! :cheesygrinsmiley:

Another broken bag tells me this last batch of bags I got for cheap is just that...oh well, it’s all good. It doesn’t bother me in the least with the exception of ruining my photo op. Enjoy and stay safe please.

Hey GT and the gang. I’ve just finished up a seed run and that left me with tons of torn up buds to press. The strains are Wedding Cake, Crumbled Lime and Chocolatina. I wasn’t sure how it was going to pan out using seeded bud but it went ok, not a bad return and it’s pretty potent as well.

Hey.... GP.... you should stop mixin sand into your pucks! That dab looks like the tile grout I was just working with this morning. What's your magic there? Tead bet's there's something fun going on.

Serious experimentation points. Sounds like a complete mess. Better you than me, but thanks for taking the plunge so I don't have too.
Of course, the old tried and true method of dripping drops into or onto the joint still works great... but now we all know better than to kick the 'core of dab' tire.

So... my real point here is to talk about parchment paper. I'm a bagless kinda dude, so it's a touch more important... but the words work in both worlds. I've tried many. After trying many, I really like the release action going in the Members Mark variety. It's been much easier to scrap things off it than the other brands I've tried.

Parchment paper , I tried the wife’s Wilton parchment paper and it like absorbed into it .
@BobbyZ had gotten me started on the silicon slick paper , works great from the amazon.

When my bud is nice and cured Reynolds wrap seems to work great. When it is too fresh it seems to just be a runny sticky mess. The only issues I've had besides that was my puck would flatten and tear the paper but when I got tee he hang of placement of puck and paper ot seems to work great. I'll have to see the prices on fancier paper and give it a whirl

It’s $25 for 250 sheets , I have a small stack of used ones that I’ve been meaning to repurpose to see if they can go farther . I’ve been lucky the neighbor pressed 2 pounds and left me 750 sheets so I’ve just bought the first package .

I can live with that price for sure. Thanks!

I'm still not a fan of bags though.if the bud is home grown and fairly fresh it seems to work great without bags. I also feel like a bunch gets caught in the screen/bag and I like just throwing the used pucks in a jar to make oil later. Are bags more useful if the bud is a bit drier? Maybe, I just don't have dab class yet :blunt:
