A.M. Radio test from hand held radio:
I do detect static from the hand held radio when it is up close to the lumatek, The sound is like a bunch of power going through power lines when listening to static on the radio up close to the ballast. That's how I would describe it. It is not so detectable outside the room using the hand held radio to test. I can listen to stations in the room just fine on the radio though, just not right next to the ballast.
From the car radio the A.M. stations come in pretty clear without massive interference like from the old ballast. So overall the ballast is an improvement.

You know it might be the router causing interference as well because the radio doesn't work near that either. The computer causes interference and so do magnets and speakers. I have a lot of interference for radio right in a small area, its no wonder the radio doesn't work.

Thanks for following along and for all the input, and giving me the courage and inspiration to want to take pictures and stuff. It takes a lot of time to do the journal and uploading. I know it takes a lot of time to read these journals too, so I try to ramble less and get to the point, if there is one.

So when I was pollinating the plants during week 4, the GDP and the Strawberry plants on the left, I blew some of the pollen off the spoon and over the plant on the right which I didn't try to pollinate by hand. A week later I can see what was pollinated from the fat buds and brown pistils, so pollen didn't really stray too far. I was doing it as a test to get an idea of what accidental or random pollination looked like. I also let one or two pollen sacks open while still on the male plant when the fan was blowing. The plants on the left, pistils on the top buds I pollinated by hand . I was only dealing with 2-3 pollen sacks worth of pollen at a time which is just a tiny amount of powder in a spoon. Some stuck to the cotton on the q-tip while other comes off like dust in the wind when flicking the spoon or rubbing the spoon directly on the buds like I did. So when pollinating I figured I would go all in, and get more seeds than I thought was a good idea, and I put pollen on the top of almost every bud top I could see. You never know how many may not germinate, may become males, and how many you will have to grow out to get a stable or good phenotype.

GDP is a good strain that people want, and I feel lucky to get a clone from a dispensary! So I am making seeds and the dispensary wants some to grow them out and do their selection and breeding, since they have the room. Pretty soon I could be going to the dispensary and seeing that new strain carried, who knows?

Random shiz I just thought of

Life is like a bag of weed, you never know how much you going to get.
Life is like a bag of weed, you never know what strain your going to get.
Life is like a bag of seeds, you never know what strain your going to get.
Life is like a strain of weed, you never know how much THC it will get.
Life is like a phenotype of weed, you never know how purple it's gonna get.
Life is like a stressed weed, you never know if it will grow bananas or pistil over you.
