Those look perfect for pot elevators! It's fun repurposing things from the dollar store...They're described as Christmas Wreath supports.
Love the dollar store near me. I now live now in a gated community that has lots of rentals all year round so people shop there to both stock the rentals for customers as well as have everything a renter would need for a weekend.Hello grow gang.
My Forbidden Fruit monster-cropped clones have been in soil for 29 days. They now look like "normal" plants so I guess the re-veg process is complete.
I finished the up-pot today. Now both are in 5 gallon pots and resting comfortably in the 4x4 tent.
They'll be under the bright lights of the @ViparSpectra XS3000 Pros! The lights are 14 inches above the plants and running at 50%. I could probably get away with running just one of them now but that wouldn't last long, so I went ahead and turned them both on.
The one on the left will be called "Copy" and the other will be named "Paste." I have a reason for distinguishing between the two but I'll talk more about that later. Right now, Copy is 12 inches from soil to tip and Paste is at 10 inches.
This morning, after completing the 2nd up-pot, they both got EWC scratched into the soil surface and were watered to run-off. I watered around the perimeter of an imaginary 1 gallon pot, but not directly on the surface of that imagined pot.
I don't want to let these veg for very long because they'll likely stretch as prolifically as their mom after they're flipped. I'm going to try my best to keep them down. (But I did that with their mom, only to be dissed, big-time! )
Training will start as soon as I believe they're settled in.
Thanks for your visit.
PEACE
It's like they were made for it- nice find, GDB!BTW, check out the perfect fit of my Wreath Supports in my saucers!
Wait, what?I think I'll pick up a couple of them to have in case I start growing in regular pots again..
Ha! That won't happen till next season, and only for the 1 outdoor plant...makes for easier schlepping...although, that's more of a thought than a plan right now...Wait, what?
"Ha!" is right! You caved to the SIP lobby in record time with that post! Shameless, IMO.Ha! That won't happen till next season, and only for the 1 outdoor plant...makes for easier schlepping...although, that's more of a thought than a plan right now...
Those wreath supports look pretty handy- I'll find to use them for if I end up not needing pot elevators.
Growing weed in a "gated community." These are the days!Love the dollar store near me. I now live now in a gated community that has lots of rentals all year round so people shop there to both stock the rentals for customers as well as have everything a renter would need for a weekend.

Ha, is right. Like he's never heard of a hand truck to schlep the fully loaded SIP around."Ha!" is right! You caved to the SIP lobby in record time with that post! Shameless, IMO.
I ain't buying it. You're doing too well in the SIPs to do a u-turn.
If I see you grow in a fabric pot again, I'll grow in a SIP! I promise. (Just don't tell Azimuth I said that.)
Let's talk more about your upcoming SIP...d.i.y., or store-bought?If I see you grow in a fabric pot again, I'll grow in a SIP!
Fixed it for ya!as a reward for her cooperation, Copy got beat down this morning!
