Grand Daddy Black Grows A Stack

That's all? Are you adding supplements?
I had her up to 5.5g but the last feed dropped it to 4g when I added the Calmag Pro (8-0-0).

I'd drop the Calmag Pro and go back to 5.5. Give it a good watering with lots of runoff.

That alone might take care of the yellowing.

Just curious, how much CMP were you feeding/gallon?
.5g per gallon of CMP.

The yellowing started when she was at 5.5g. How is taking her back there going to change anything?

Oh okay, I thought maybe it was a lot more than that.

It probably won't if you were at 4g and 0.5g. You're definitely underfeeding it on the NPK numbers there.

Try 5.5g MC and 1g magnesium nitrate (assuming it's 11-0-0).
She only got watered one time at the 4gMC + .5gCMP rate. Before that, she had been at 5.5 for quite a few feeds (I'm too lazy to look back.)

But thank you Shed. I'll try the mag nitrate (and it is 11-0-0). :thanks:

Hey Stinky la Rue!

Omg I feel like I have seen you in AGES!

You need to crank up a new grow bruv!

:)

Hi Trala, I took a short forced break. I'm Back! Your girls look great as always. I am running a tent of BF photos. :)

Hello growers.

Today's tent pic is the group at Flip + 45.

Clones 7-24-22 F45.jpg

I hope I'm not being repetitive, but the growth rate of the Dot-fed plants is really impressive!

The Black Domina clone, front right, is on MC and looks like a runt compared to the Dotted ones. Her mother was not a huge plant, but she was no runt. So I guess there's no reason this clone would be a runt either. She just looks like one in her present company!

She is sitting up on a milk crate and remains the shortest girl in the tent. The two on the left (both Black Cherry Pie clones) are set upon two beverage carriers each and even they remain shorter than the Kera Bubblegum clone (back right) which sits flat on the tent floor.

But the point is the Dotted plants are smoking the MC-fed plant, growth-wise.

This will inform how I proceed with the Dots for my next grow.

I'm going to stick with the Dot's built-in 28-day veg scheme, fearing that extending the veg period will lead to plants that are larger than I want to deal with.

Thanks for looking in.

Peace.

Good morning Black :)

What exactly are your dots? I have recently started with a new dotty slow release nute, and I too think it’s the ducks nuts. I find it so super easy. Sprinkle dots every 4 weeks then just water as normal.

It has simplified my grow greatly.

I'm surprised by this question T! It's the same thing your friend @DeeBoy is using!

One time application, when you prep your pot, and then just water until the end. Or so they say!

I'll find out about that "until the end" part as I get nearer to the end.

Dey diggin' de dots!

To be fair, none of the other three are a Black Domina clone.

That's an excellent way to make sure you don't end up with too-big plants! Good idea.

I'm not being unfair at all Shed.

All of the other clones have grown larger than their mothers. The Black Domina clone has not. In fact, she's not even as big as her mom was. And all the mamas were grown on MC.

That has to point to something! :Rasta:

It points to something, but what isn't exactly clear.
Well whatever it's pointing to, it sure ain't me. I'm inclined to give the credit to the Dots! :laughtwo:

Hello all.

It's Flip + 48 for the clones.

The Dot-fed plants are beginning to show yellowing again, but otherwise look healthy. On their last feed they got their dose of Recharge. I also gave them 8ml of organic Calmag (0-0-0). And, I topped all of their soil surfaces with a fresh layer of Roots Organics Lush soil. That should provide them with a nice boost of goodies over time.

The yellowing on the MC-fed Black Domina clone (front right) seems to have abated (at least it's not spreading). For her last feed she got 5.5g of MC and I took Shed's suggestion and also gave her 1g of magnesium nitrate.

The two Black Cherry "Punch" plants have started turning their pistils orange. (Somewhere along the line I changed their strain name from "Punch" to "Pie." That was just a brain fart. Their correct name is Black Cherry Punch.)

I've mislabeled pics before, you might even find the odd spelling error.
The trick is to show beautiful ladies like those so nobody notices. :thumb:
Hope your good Amigo.

Stay safe

I'd call that a reasonably happy late flower tent! And the buds look terrific. :thumb:

It's less of a no-muss-no-fuss grow than it looked like early on, so I wonder if that extra veg time (even in lower light) plays a roll in the changes you're seeing. :hmmmm: I guess the next round will be a good comparison.

Glad to hear it!

I can hear them now..."I don't care what the GDB says about us as long as he spells our name right." :)
